Checked into the hotel with 3 other people accompanying me. Got a phone call from the front desk saying there were too many
people in the room and only 1 person was allowed in the room. I went to the front desk and asked for the company policy that said there was no one else allowed in the room. The girl at the front desk had her boyfriend acting as a security guard that worked there but he did not. The girl at the front desk said she didn't have the policies. I asked for the manager or owner and she said no one was available.

I asked her to call the police because she said we all needed to leave (not just my guests that were visiting for a little while and that were NOT staying the night, but I needed to leave as well) and she refused to issue a refund.

When the police arrived she told them that she was the manager and that they were not allowed to issue refunds to locals. The police asked to see the copy of the refund policy which she would not provide. I told her that I was not a local and then she just seemed dumb founded and still refused to refund my money. The police asked the girl who the young man was wearing a belt with a flash light and a baton on it and she said he was a hotel guest. We all left and I thought it was all over until I looked at my bank statement and see not only the nightly room charge of $75.34 but additional charges that totaled $440.50.

I emailed and called both the hotel and the Days Inn Corporation and no would could seem to help me. They said they are charging me for having more than 1 person in the room and for smoking. I do NOT smoke nor can I be around smoke, I
have asthma and am on multiple inhalers. My boyfriend went to the hotel a few days later and said he would like a room and wanted to know if it would be okay if he had a few friends from out of town stop by the room but that he would be
the only one staying and they said that was fine. No company policies. No manager or owner available. People posing as security guards. Ridiculous, bogus charges!
