Complaint Review: David Jones - Gilbert Arizona

On July 29, 2018 I received the following text message: "LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!! LOSER!!!!!" from 562-688-5150. I blocked after the 9th message and Googled the number. It came back to one convict Lance Edwin Rictor of La Mirada, CA and Eugene, Oregon. A long time friend of a Hayward employee DAVID JONES of now Gilbert AZ. who currently is a "district technical training manager" (both of whom used to work for one of my companies and both terminated).

Lance Rictor, convict friend of David Jones worked for our company for a matter of only weeks or months almost 20 years ago, he was summarily terminated for cheating customers and myself/ stealing.  I have not seen or heard from this clown since. The Hayward rep/ employee who provided Lance my number was also terminated 15 years ago for saying "suck my d*ck" under his breath after walking away when I confronted him about lying and not showing up to appointments. David Jones would habitually lie and claim it was the customers who were lying, but yet customers at Whittier Village Pools (I have heard personally), Aquienta Pools (the company he went to work for after quitting Hayward then going back to Hayward) and Hayward have said the same about not following up or responding (including 3 of my subcontractors) Several online reviews regarding Hayward employee while at Aquienta Pools:

"So disappointed in the company. We worked with them several years ago and they did a great job. This time, nothing. was out to give us an estimate and seemed nice enough, saying he would need to have their concrete guy look at the property. Then I get a message from the office that they don't have a concrete person to do the work. You do pool construction and you don't have someone who does concrete? I called them back and said we'd be willing to wait until they got a person who could do the work. Kim, who answered the phone said she would talk to to get further detail about the reason they couldn't do the work at this time, but she never got back to me. When I called her again, she was evasive and unhelpful and simply suggested I email . I both called and emailed and he never returned my call or email. Nothing. Boo Aquienta Pools."

"We were looking for a company to drain our pool and clean the tile. My husband called them and talked to Kim. The first time, she said that would be calling him back. A week went by with no response. When he called a second time, on a Friday, my husband was told someone would try and call him back after the weekend. She also said they had been really busy lately. Don't waste your time. They don't have time for you and don't return your phone calls."

I'm sure according to the b**********, they're the ones lying, it's never him always someone else LOL.

ex girlfriends say he's a liar, maternal grandfather said he's a liar, father and mother both told me he's a liar, friends/ acquaintances have told me he's a liar. Gee EVERYONE says you're the liar but you accuse me and others of being the liar, and yet, not a single family member, friend, or coworker has ever accused me of being a liar.

 

Between July 2018 and late 2019 I confronted the employee in person who admitted giving my number out claiming I "pushed his buttons". This employee was asked several times in writing why he gave my number to Lance Rictor asked to apologize and generally would ignore and NEVER DENY.

Throughout the following year I contacted Hayward employee several times to resolve this issue and was met with further harassment by a false review of my company and a false BBB complaint through proxy his buddy Lance Rictor again. A lowlife ex con I have not seen or spoken to in almost 20 years!

My cell phone number is private (and unlisted) it was given to this lowlife by Hayward's employee who was living in Whittier CA at the time. October 2018 I made sure to travel to the Las Vegas annual pool show where I confronted this Hayward employee. As I walked around the corner he literally turned white like he saw a ghost! I went up to him and asked "what's the problem?". He claimed he doesn't have a problem and 'we're cool'. I asked him: "Why did you give my number to Lance?" true to form he shrugged his shoulders. Where's the you'll kick my a*s faux bravado when I'm actually in your face??

 

I have emailed, called and text Hayward employee several times by phone, text and emails asking why he gave my number to Lance. After his email and refusal to apologize I informed him I would be notifying both his and Lance's employers; turns out Lance Rictor the loser extraordinaire has no job and is on disability for a supposed back injury. summarily blocked me then without ever denying having Lance Rictor call and harass me he told me to stop contacting him. As usual he's full of bravado in email and a complete P**** to my face. He lies about me to others, makes voluminous false statements, just a few that come to mind I have heard from others:

My***customers hate me***- Right David the coward, the truth is we have A+ BBB rating, over 1,000 5 star reviews online in aggregate and over 27,000 satisfied clients vs your 100, maybe 200 customers?

My***employees hate me***- Let's compare, 3 of my employees have been with me over 18 years and 15 of my employees have been with my company over 12 years! I've had over 150 employees in aggregate, in addition to countless subcontractors, you have had LITERALLY Z E R O!

Claimed he was "the best service technician in all of Orange County" what an asinine statement. I could ask him dozens of technical questions he couldn't answer if his life depended on it. Delusional AF!!

Claims I TOO ***dropped out of high school***- incorrect, that's you . I went on home study my last 18 months of high school and immediately matriculated college.

Claims I perform "mickey mouse repairs"- I have forgotten more than this BS artist knows. Coming from the two bit loser who has never been able to make a full time go of his weekend and evening side businesses chasing pennies.

Claims I'm 5'0 tall- when infact I am 5'9" perhaps all the tattoo ink has affected his height and depth perception.

Claims I weigh 105 pounds- I am 162 pounds, basically the same weigh as but unlike him I don't have a beer belly and, I have a 6 pack whereas he drinks them.

Claims in [email protected] he's "so much bigger" than me and would "whoop my a*s with one arm tied behind his back"- LOLOLOLOLOLOL Lemme know when, where!! Not only have I invited him and the other s**t talking coward Lance to meet me in person ANY TIME ANY WHERE! I am also a 3'rd degree TaeKwonDo and 1st degree JeetKuneDo blackbelt, always have been stronger than him. Anytime, anywhere just let me know when and where p****.......!

Claims in aforementioned email he "asked repeatedly to stop contacting".- not sure if this is before or after he asked me several times throughout the years to help him start / grow his business.

Claims he is "contacting the PD to file harassment" LOL, still waiting. This high school flunkie and junior college dropout needs to learn and comprehend the meaning of the word harassment and said this after I told him I would be contacting his and Lances employers; a ruse to prevent me from contacting Hayward regarding the Lance Rictor harassment he put him up to.

According to him Pentair and Jandy/ Fluidra both want (or wanted to hire him). This is a guy not based in reality lives in a world of delusions created in his head.

Claims I'm "full of s**t"- I can prove everything I say!

Hayward employee district technician asked one of my subcontractors he met with during a Hayward automation installation: "Do you like him?" when my name was brought up.

 

I attempted to have one final lunch with Hayward employee David Jones to resolve this like a man, but, I am not dealing with a man. I am dealing with a sociopathic manipulative liar coward.

 

 

On May 29, 2019 I received the following "anonymous" text message from the Hayward employee through an online text free website: "White trash racist scumbag". 

It took me several months through my attorney to acquire the IP address this originated from. It came directly from this same Hayward employee with the Whittier CA IP address located 15347 Goodhue St., Whittier CA. The same coward that each time I've attempted to see what his issue is, what I supposedly did to him, why he's passive aggressive he claims "we're cool". I have asked and demanded ad nauseam for an apology for these messages, statements, lies and many other things he's said and done for years, he refuses. So I refuse to help him or ever be friends again.  I've told him if he thinks I owe him money let me know, or tell me what I did- nothing just perpetual s**t talking to anyone who will listen from a zero. He's stolen accounts for his side business in the past which belong to my company, removed my company labels, trashed my name at a couple local suppliers, ex customers and mutual contacts.

 

I emailed Hayward employee once again asking if it was he or Lance:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/regina-payne-77b0b29/ who gave a perfunctory response she would look into it. I emphasized I must remain anonymous. (confidential information made it's way back to the employee I was complaining about before authoring this blog post) I know literally hundreds of people in the pool industry here in southern California almost 3 decades and heard through the grapevine he no longer worked for Hayward and moved to Arizona. I let the issue go for now.

 

In 2020 ish I heard this employee David Jones was re-hired and is working for Hayward once again and had even been promoted to another position in Arizona. At first it didn't phase me until I noticed other Hayward Pool employees treating me differently, such as Chris Cason who was outright IGNORING my text messages leaving them on "READ". I sent screenshots to Fred Manno. I spoke with Fred Manno and we agreed to meet when he returned from his vacation so I could share additional screenshots I had. NOTHING, no further follow up from Fred Manno. Fred Manno has no problem clicking "like" on EVERY Hayward post just like the bullshit artist clicks like on every post, because when you are not good at your job, your only skill is blowing smoke, you must look like you give a rats a*s about the company and kiss a*s incase the company is looking.

 

Seeing a pattern with Hayward yet? As of Dec 2022 we reduced our purchases from over $1m to under $500k between myself and my subcontractors and will continue to reduce selling their products as a direct result of their pathetic follow up, customer service, follow through, warranty service and aforementioned maligning and harassment.

Chris Cason became buddies with the Hayward employee David Jones while he was employed at Whittier Village Pools circa 2012-2015 and Chris was primarily responsible for this employee being hired into Hayward in the first place. Afterall, Hayward stated didn't have the experience or education required. At that time he was working for Whittier Village Pools (WVP) and contacted me to help him start his own business while bemoaning WVP and the owner, because according to "morale is so low" amongst all employees working at Whittier Village Pools and his boss- the owner for 30 years Warren Jackson was "difficult to get along with" and wouldn't allow his side businesses, gee it seems he said the EXACT SAME THING ABOUT ME AND MY COMPANY. Idk, maybe it's YOU !?

 

8/19/2022 after 4.5 years of being ignored I finally had my first and only phone call with Regina Payne "HR" and Fred Manno at Hayward ONLY AFTER PUBLISHING THIS PUBLIC BLOG POST. This woman is amazing. She comes up with many excuses for ignoring me for over FOUR AND A HALF YEARS! Her scenarios and excuses are complete nonsense. Omits the fact we called her twice with NO RESPONSE. Regina claims her "supervisor" whose number and email I requested several times and was ignored told Regina not to respond to me, A CUSTOMER. TO DATE I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHO REGINA PAYNES SUPERVISOR IS. Purports my claims are unsubstantiated and claims she investigated. COMPLETE BULLSHIT!! Anything you say to this dense woman, it's like talking to the proverbial wall. Deflection, obfuscating, excuses, scapegoats. I explained my cell phone number was given out to Lance Rictor friend of "Hayward District Technical Manager" during business hours while employed by Hayward Pool Products. Regina's response is my number is public. INCORRECT, WRONG, TRY AGAIN, it's not public nor listed, infact, I Googled my own phone number while we were on this phone call, there are 3 results on Google!! My full name comes up no where, my business name comes up NO WHERE. It is a private number only my family, friends, employees and few Hayward colleagues in the industry have. It is not posted anywhere to justify her nonsense that Lance Rictor obtained my phone number elsewhere, not from your employee, even after this Hayward employee admitted to me when confronted to giving my cell phone number to him. I posed the analogy to Regina, so I have a question, "if when we get off this phone call Fred Manno decides to give this number to his friend Joe Smith and Joe Smith texts me harassing messages is it or is it not a Hayward HR issue?" She refused to answer!!!!!! Fred Manno had the brilliant idea of contacting Lance Rictor to verify the Hayward employee gave him my number. Great idea Fred!!! I'm sure he'll be honest and admit his friend asked him to harass me, afterall convicts live by the highest of moral standards.

Amazingly, just DAYS after the aforementioned phone call, 9/23/2022, the shitbag lowlife writes another 1 star review on my business.

The only reason Fred and Regina reached out after outright ignoring me all these years is because they don't like this posted on Linkedin they claim it reflects poorly on Hayward. I think Hayward does that for themselves without my truthful post which is protected under the 1st amendment AND ANTI-SLAPP law. Haywards HR has proven to be complicit, incompetent, inept and doesn't comprehend the legal liability they hold for defamation by their employee, the fact their agent, (AKA THEIR COMPANY HAYWARD HOLDINGS) during business hours maligns and defames my character to others in the pool industry, intentionally gives out my private cell phone number to Lance Rictor for the sole purpose to harass me, asks his dipshit friend Lance Rictor utilizing his severely overtaxed uneducated lexicon to file a poorly worded false review and false complaint about my business.

 

Bottom line is David Jones is jealous AF! He had held several dead end jobs including Hayward where he has already left the company at least once to go to work for Aquienta Pools and run his most recent side business Hydro Pools 480-490-6399, ( https://www.bizapedia.com/az/hydro-pools.html) attempted voluminous times to grow his business and only wishes he could accomplish even 5% of what I have done therefore he tries to tear me down to others by besmirching my name to everyone but me.

 

 

 

 

We reach out to Hayward warranty and the warranty guys outright IGNORE us and ignore my customers. Hayward has many negative reviews and comments online for this very scenario in how they treat customers. 

As of 2022, we reduced our Hayward purchases by half and will continue to steer away from Hayward. Clearly, they did not perform a full background check or contact his previous employers before hiring him. 

 

 Circa 2016 this employee text me: "Did you hear I bought a house? Did you hear I'm working for Hayward? " self aggrandizing much, do you think I have nothing better to do than see what you're doing in life? I am still waiting for many overdue apologies!  I scheduled a luncheon with him once again in hopes of getting some resolve and moving forward, none to be had. He, like always, is nice to those he is using and once he's no longer being helped he turns on you. Same way he was hired at Hayward by befriending a Hayward rep.

 

David Jones Hayward employee and ex employee of mine is a sycophantic habitual liar who I mistakenly thought was a loyal friend. He's in fact an actor, arrogant, a two-faced chameleon who knows little but talks alot about all he knows!! He befriends others until he uses them for all he can get then trashes and maligns their reputation behind their back! He calls me a loser? Calls me racist white trash from the safety and comfort of an anonymous website. Say it to my face, any f**king time!!!  

Predominately all of his "friends", many of whom are ex convicts, are white!! I have friends of every race and origin. I have one of the larger companies in southern California and have made tens of millions of dollars. I'm not the high school dropout, I'm not the one who obtained a 1.8 GPA taking a couple courses at Rancho Santiago junior college then dropped out because you're lazy AF perpetually seeking shortcuts in life, I'm not the one who gaslights and cheats on his wife, cuts off his friends, blocks his mother on Facebook, moves in with his estranged father who hadn't contacted him even once for years to use him for a place to stay like the parasite he is; I am loyal to my friends. I apologize when I am wrong. If I have something to say about you I say it to your face and you heard it from me directly.  I don't say one thing to your face and another behind your back, I'm not the one who has tried and failed a plethora of times to start my own full time business. I tried many times to patch things up with this jerk and took me some time to see who he really is. I'm done.

 

October 2023- January 2024 David Jones is stalking my Facebook and Instagram accounts from alias profiles. One such profile is "mikedaminute" on instagram who I do not follow and does not follow me but on the daily finds time in his drap pathetic loser life to login and click on my stories:
