This is just an FYI to people who live in Burleson.    On November 26, 2023 while coming home from getting a new battery on my car it broke down on Renfro.  I made it into the Cowboy Express Car Wash parking lot.  I was in a weird spot so the two young guys who were working there helped me borrow some jumper cables and I moved it to the back by the dog wash.  The workers knew the situation and they said the car would be okay.  The mechanic I had said he would go out on Wednesday to replace alternator.  I stopped by the car wash on Monday and Tuesday to get stuff out of my car like my daughters softball equipment.  I went back on Wednesday to meet the mechanic and my car had been towed 20 miles away on the far side of Keene.  The heavy set manager said he didn’t know anything about my car breaking down.  To make the situation worse when I finally got in touch with  the owner of the car wash he was loud,  rude and dismissive.  This tow ended up costing me $750.00.    The owner did not care.

I am disappointed that the owner and manager lied  trying to justify their actions and said my car was there for two weeks when I have proof that is not true because it was getting a battery installed.  Customer or not this is no way to treat a person in your community.  It took me a week to get ahold of the owner because the manager (and the other workers and so-called corporate office) refused to give me his name.  I can not speak about the car wash if it gets your car clean but  I can attest to the fact that the heavy set manager thought it was funny and the owner is awful and enjoyed sarcastically wishing me a Merry Christmas as he hung up the phone.

So you thought you could just leave your car parked for free on someone else's property for 3 days, without even asking anyone in charge (random employees don't count) or leaving your contact info?  Yeah, that usually leads to your car getting towed.  If you expect the business to let you park there, I would have at least made sure to talk to someone inside on the days you were there to make sure you were still OK to keep it there.  Better yet, just call a tow truck and don't risk it.
