We have 3 written requests from a director at ConcertTechologies to provide insurance “naming Concert as both certificate holder and additionally insured” when we attempted to coordinate time to paint our building bordering the far side of their parking lot. 

 

This director withheld permission to use parking spaces unless the company was literally written into our private insurance policy. When we suggested a notarized hold harmless agreement instead because our City does not require such insurance, we stopped hearing from this employee. 

 

The sketchy request to be named on our insurance was not the only red flag from this employee. In fact, there were 3 unreasonable requests all together and we realized that this employee did not want maintenance to be completed on a property in plain view of the ConcertTechnologies facility.

 

The maintenance would have benefited both property holders, but this employee was determined to block access for reasons unknown. Our request would have in no way interfered with the operations of the company and in fact would have improved the environment considerably.

 

If you are considering working with or for ConcertTechnologies, research the low ratings of both the customers and the employees. It is indicative of the type of culture that we quickly learned was obstructionist, uncooperative, provincial, negative and short-sighted of the type not found in larger, successful, reliable companies.
