I received an email from my Dollar car rental charging me a toll plus service charge. I provided proof to Dollar and Plate Pass that the toll charge was impossible to have occurred and made by some systematic error but I was totally dismissed. The proof I provided showed I was in Colorado Springs my entire stay and the accumulated point to point mileage based on provided credit card charges while in Colorado Spring almost exactly matched the total miles on the Dollar receipt statement proving it was impossible for me to have made an additional 150+ mile round trip to Denver in the middle of the night to receive this toll charge. I requested photo proof of the toll by plate and was denied, indicating this toll did not actually happen and should be considered fraud committed by Dollar and Plate Pass.
And if this credit card fraud is happening to me, it must also be happening to hundreds of others meaning Dollar and Plate Pass is involved in thousands of dollars of fraudulent toll charges and added administrative fees.
