Circuit City Black Friday rebates never received York Pennsylvania
I also made purchases on Black Friday of 2008. I was sent an e-mail on 1/21/09 saying that my rebates were verified and processed. Checks were issued and it would take 5-10 business days to receive. They never came so I called. I was told not to call back until after 2/22/09. I called after that date and was told that indeed the checks were printed but were not mailed yet.
All this took place long before the liquidation notices were annoanced. So to me this was false advertising and they apparently never intended to honor those rebates. I am out approx. $250.00 from these crooks and I don't really appreciate it. What can be done. I never had problems with their rebates in the past and surely did not anticpate being part of a fiasco when I made my piurchases and handed over my cash.
