Choice Hotels International Swindled me out if $50 with no way for me to hold them accountable Rockville MD

Convinced to use choice hotels for vacation with promise of $50 Amazon gift card. Stayed the required nights and redeemed points for gift card well within required time frame. Contacted customer service when card was not received in expected time. Waited the suggested time until I knew there had to be a mistake. Contacted customer support again who looked into the situation and discovered the card was not sent due to choice having no address for me. Was told since choice is so nice my points were refunded.
The Amazon promotion was over. My point are now worth half of what they were. After going back and forth explaining that I did what was required and being told how nice they are to give me back my points I realize I will not get what I earned and there is really no way to hold large companies accountable. Who knows how many other people just Choice Hotels has used? I feel bad for their employees because surely when there is a work issue they too are used and ignored. I hated the hotels we stayed at to get this silly card and will never be using Choice again. They have showed me they truly do not care about people.
