These products which are at the high end of the pricing spectrum to other brands is done so to profit from thoses that do not "Opt Out" of "Automatic Subscription Enrollment" hoping that one would forget to do it since they do no remind your or inform you when you get the product. 

In addition, they have a "No Product Return" policy & "Restocking Fee" that further protects them from legal action against them for their deceptiveness. Interestingly too, to get a partial refund, you also have to agree not to take legal action against them.  It's all legal but that should tell you alot.

The initial refund offered to me was 25%.  The total charge for the oil and cream was $177.08.  I kept complaining about that and then was offered an addtional "Employee Discount" of 20%.  I kept complaining and then she offered me 50% discount to which I kept complaining and threatening to her final offer of 75% refund discount.  The total charge resulted to be $44.27, refund amount of $132.81

So it seems if you can complain enough, you can get at least 75% back.  It appears that this method of marketing/sales is becoming more of a 'norm' to legally sell products for short term profits.  When nolonger profitable, just start a 'new brand' marketing the same way.

 

 

Companies that strongly stands behind their products similar to these products will clearly tell you Your Obligations to get the discounted price.  If you look at their website, it is hard if not, non-existent of displaying the retail price.  I found it in their "Terms and Condition" link. A truly a "Buyer Beware" Company.
