Briggs Stratton Store Pronto Mowers BBB rating F another ripoff Boca Raton Florida
I ordered a push mower engine $284.45 that was listed as 7/13/21. I later found out from Briggs and Stratton dealer that the engine won't be on the market until Jan 2022 (6 months). When I tried to cancel the order they hung up on me after a couple of expletives.

Understand, I feel your pain and from what you stated, you have a good case. However....HOWEVER you CANNOT attach ANY importance to the BBB. Those PHONY rating are a BOUGHT AND SOLD commodity. Those FAKE ACCREDITATIONS are a BOUGHT AND SOLD commodity. There are MANY sleazy car dealers who BOUGHT their PHONY "A+” rating. The BBB is NOT part of ANY government or law enforcement body! A business is NOT invited into the BBB because they have some stellar reputation.
THEY BUY INTO IT! The only purpose of the BBB is to SELL their PHONY RATINGS and ACCREDITATIONS. They try to DECEIVE the public into thinking they are part of government by constantly referring to themselves as "the bureau”. Do not fall for their BS. This business may be bad but they can make that PHONY "F” rating vanish simply by PURCHASING a new PHONY rating.
