Been an owner with Bluegreen for quite some time now and would urge anyone thinking about going into business with them to proceed with caution. We weren't told that maintenance fee costs would rise every year. This has been a financial drain for my husband and I. We tried to keep up with the outrageous fees, but we have medical bills to pay and we can no longer afford to make any sort of payments on this. We are getting older and both have health problems that prevent us from traveling, making this useless to us.

I'm overloaded on medical bills and will not choose a timeshare over my husband's care. I tried discussing this with Bluegreen directly but was told my only options were trying to sell it through a company they recommended called Pinnacle Vacations (never worked) or to pay more fees (not an option). From the very beginning, we were told a lot of lies and misrepresentations that we have no idea were deceitful tactics to rope us into this until it was too late. Reservations were extremely difficult to make.

It's just a mess that we need off our shoulders. My husband is very ill and I’m in no shape to travel nor would I leave him behind. He is on oxygen after his latest stint in the hospital. We need this exasperating ordeal to end. I want to focus on my husband and his health as well as mine and this is doing nothing to help. Anytime I think about this I get worked up. I can’t take it anymore! I just want it out of our lives!
