It is a leap of faith for you to give your credit card or debit card to this firm.

Read the terms. If the machine fails to register your return of the DVD YOU are solely responsible....whether their machine malfunctions or not.

They don't agree THAT the DVD works.

The only thing they agree to is to charge your credit card....and keep charging it.

Heck they say if you reserve with a promo code (and for some reason can't pick it up). then they will charge you! What sense does that make?

If you keep a rental item beyond the initial rental period, you will be charged the applicable Extra Night Rate (see above) for each extra night rental period that "you elect" to keep the item.

OK..so the terms are onerous.

I drove to Publix to rent a movie on Christmas Eve. December 24. The rental box was inside the store. The store was closed December 25th...and a sign was posted on the blockbuster machine to that effect...and they aid they would give us an extra night.

I returned the DVD December 26th...the first time they were open.

I did NOT ELECT to keep the DVD another night..the location was closed.

They charged me anyway..

Hey if I knew they were going to pull that SCAM..I would have tried to find an external location (there are NONE)..an internal that was open Christmas (not likely) ...or would not have bothered.

SO.folks this was a KNOWN CHRISTMAS SCAM.

IF they CHEAT you on Christmas..they are disreputable.

Customer service

1) Hung up on me.

2) supervisor was busy and failed to call me back. Said she was on break. Called again and they she did not answer her phone.

3) would NOT refund the charge...only gave me a code that did not work.

4) said I was stupid and that DUH they knew the store was closed so they gave out the code to make up for it. So they advertised a free rental when they knew in advance they were going to charge them.

5) SAID THEY CANNOT DO A REFUND. Customer service cannot do a refund. It takes ten minutes on hold to get an agent and NONE of them can help you.

You are calling Georgia and they are all BLACK...and they really don't give a hoot. If you have seen the real housewives of Atlanta promos ...you KNOW the TYPE.

Then the company issued codes for a new account.

I drove to Publix..after picking out movies..and I'll be darned the code custom issued to me did not work. The code WAS ONLY VALID January 28 through February 3rd..and on January 28th it did not work.

DO YOURSELF a favor..forget the aggravation. Do not deal with the BLACK so called "customer service" folks.

This is not a reputable firm. Customer service can't issue refunds and you cannot get beyond them.

Don't risk your card.

BUY (((competitor's name redacted))) or (((redacted))). MUCH BETTER.

If they have to "scam" you to get a buck it is not a reputable firm.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
