Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

While shopping I was injured by one of their vendors. I was told that they would extend our yearly membership by 1 year. That sounded fair. They never did that.  They basicly screwed me.

If you purchase an item that doesn't meet yor expectations remember you can return it, no questions asked. Even if it's opened.

Bj's did me wrrong!! Plain and simple. They said that I was going to get the 1 year membership at no charge. They lied.

Corporate contacted me. Not becase they wanted to make things right but becaues I said the I waas going to post at EVERY website about what happened. They basicly brused me off. I told them to check out a complaint that I had about a Home improvement company and said to get back to me the next day. Later that day they said that they woud extend my card. In my opinion the only reason was that they wold lose business.  They did wrong but it was the right thing to do by extending my card.

I do the right thing which is why I'm posting this. They honored what they said.  Very rerly do things go wrong. Things do happen but it's nice to see that they did the right thing.

1. The  person who gave me a jar was given the jar from the store. It was the stores property. If the veder supplied

the item then that would be different.

2. The store manager was the one who gave the ok to extend our membership for 1 year. It had over 6 months left. It wasn't like it was going to expire in 2 days.

3. I was told that BJ's always made things right. They stand behind what they sell. That means if the product is no good they will take it back. To get into a big box store you need to be beyond good.

3. I never purchased the product. All I kept tinking about was getting some type of blood disease.

4. If the store manager didn't agree to a 1 year extention then I would have gone to the hospital by ambulance  which would have cost BJ's a lot more money.

Since they lied and never extened the membership  I am using the internet to let everyone know how I feel.

So this doesnt sound like you were ACTUALLY injured at all. If a VENDOR injured you, then you need to take it up with that VENDORs company. Vendors ARE NOT employees. They are third party individuals who normally come in to stock a product. This company giving you ANYTHING is far and above what they should have done. Second, you seem to think you have a right to a refund. This is as far from the truth as it can get. There is no "LAW" that states you get a refund "No questions asked". MANY companies have policies in effect that keep you the consumer from performing "Return Fraud". These policies also allow your return to be denied if it fails to meet company policies.

Sorry but the biggest mistake ANY consumer can make is to make ASSUMPTIONS!! You ASSUME that because companies take back products without much hassle that you have a RIGHT to return purchases. This RIGHT is not a right. It is a courtesy that those businesses perform for you. Reality is that you bought it , its yours. ANY RETURN CAN BE DENIED. So before you give out the INCORRECT information and have both yourself and others misinformed, understand that a business is in business TO MAKE MONEY. If you go into a store with the attitude of its your right, you will be highly disappointed and have the return process shutdown on you.

Given that this company offered you a "free" membership for your injury.
