Hi, my name is Tony. We recently got behind on our Mortgage do to the fact the interest rate is to high and the mortgage payment is also. We were told that after a couple of months that they would refinance to get us a lower rate and payment. Needless to say, it has not happened. The company sent us a letter on regards to our mortgage and gave us a number to call.

We called and they told us about there Hardship program. We were given instructions on what information that they needed in order to see if we would quailfy. Then information was sent and we were told to contact them in 24to48hours to see if they had got the informationand started the process.

Well upon contacting them back, i was told that they needed more information. I asked what was needed and was given more instructions on what to send. Upon writing down the instructions i was asked why were we applying for hardship. I proceded to tell them our sitiuation and they pulled up our contract and started asking about certain information that were in our files.

At the time when were trying to refinance i didn't really understand why the mortgage specialist would contact us with from his company office phone and then contact us from his cell phone.Well needless to say what he was doing was in fact ,he knew that our current income wouldn't get us the loan so he would tell us that he would call us back.

When he call us back it would be from his cell phone. Then he would procede to tell me to write a letter saying that i have a lawn service working on the weekend making between $700-$1000 amonth. I thought he was really trying to help us but all the while he was helping himself.

So while i was talking to the representative she brought that information up and i told her that he told us to do it. She then proceded to say that now i want to put the the blame on somebody else. I told her now that i really think about it, he knew what he was doing by calling us on his cell phone and not his office phone.

She then said but u went ahead and closed on the deal anyway knowing that the rate and the mortgage payment were high. I said yes because i was under the impression the he was going to refinance us in acouple of months to a lower rate and mortgage payment, which he wasn't planning on doing from the start. She then asked did we try refinancing and i said yes and that noone would touch it.

I then told her that we tried with our bank and that's our bank said that this loan shouldn't even have taken place. The representative then said well u signed the papers. I then asked her if she wanted to know the name of the person who went through with the loan and she said no, stop trying to put the blame on somebody else., u signed the papers. So then i got upset and told her that i was going to get a lawyer, which i can't afford. So i found your website to see if you could help me or give me some kind of instructions on what to do.
