bedpage.com is a scam website. They steal their customers money on a regular basis. That’s why they accept payments only in Bitcoin now (and then say “No refunds” after they take your money and provide no service. This site is run by Indians and hosted abroad. They stole hundreds of dollars from thousands of customers. And they keep changing their rules to steal more money from you. They shut down your account for no reason and they do not refund you the money which you had there. They just steal your money. And it’s impossible to talk to them, they do not return e-mails.

Now for new accounts they request upfront deposit $100 (in Bitcoin only) just to “activate” your account to advertise with them. You jump through a lot of hoops, follow their instructions, send them $100 in Bitcoin or a little more, send them a receipt for $102 paid in Bitcoin… only to find out that they credited your account for only $99.97. And they refuse to “activate” your account (because they say it’s less than $100), so you are not allowed to use your money to pay for advertisement. They say now you have to deposit $25 more (because their system does not accept anything less than $25) to “activate” your account. When asked for a refund, they say “no refunds”.

If you jump through a lot of hoops and finally manage to deposit more than $100 in Bitcoin into your account, you can post an ad with them (which costs $5 to post). After a short time, they will block your account for no reason and say that now you have to “verify” your account, because all accounts need to be “verified”.To “verify” your account, they ask you to send them a video of yourself where you have to say your name, your address, your phone number, your e-mail address (they want to collect all personal and biometric information on you, including your face and a sample of your voice). If you don’t comply with their demands, they will keep your money. They do not ask you to send them your video BEFORE they take your money. Remember, they are scammers from India. They copied the old backpage.com website which was shut down by the government.

In the past, they used to accept gift cards from Walmart as payment (not any longer) but the same stealing was going on if you deposited money via those gift cards.
