I am writing this because I was recently contacted by an employee that I use to work with at Ameriquest and she told me that the class action against Ameriquest for overtime to their loan officers was winding down. She said that she spoke with the attorneys for the plainiffs and they are still trying to contact as many employees that were not paid overtime as possible. She told me that they were trying to reach people on the east coast and in subprime, but they havent had much luck, which surprised me.

I know I worked there from like 9 to 8 everyday and those bastards didnt appreciate it and when I had one or two slow months they would be on my a*s and told me to put in extra time? And since I was new to the business, I did, sometimes I would leave there at 9:30. I still cant believe I did that to this day.

Anyways, when she told me that they were trying to screw employees out of overtime, I wanted to do my part and make sure that every single employee that worked overtime is going to get paid what they are owed. I cant imagine how much money they screwed us out of. I dont have the name and numbers to the attorneys because

I have not spoken with them yet, but they are supposed to call me sometime by the end of this week. I dont know anything about the case except that they should pay what they owe. I am glad the AG's office made them pay back all those poor consumers, but what about us employees. We are the ones that put in the time to make them rich. I told her about this site and that I would post something, so here it is.

If you want to speak with the attorneys for the plaintiffs, then go ahead and contact me and I should have the information to pass on by then.

Let's not let them get away with screwing us over.

Meglio (nice name but rather stupid), you are quite a disgrace to Ohio. I'm even ashamed I lived there at one time. When you talk trash and ignorance, you should really leave out the state you live in. It only gives it a bad name. For your information, my original contract had no mention at all of a PREPAYMENT PENALTY. That's what I'm suing for now. You are pretty pathetic to ASSUME anything you have copied from my previous postings. And, by the way, you must not have a job since you have so much time to go back and copy what I have said in the PAST. d**n, get a job! Be something rather than the idiot you have portrayed yourself to be. Uh, yes, it would be nice to have my PERFECT credit score before marriage .... something you could never say you ever had. But I have almost got it back. Oh, but you probably would not understand anything of that nature since I'm sure your credit score is crap seeing how you ranted about mine. HA! In the future, you should not attempt to copy my scenario of how a potential employee would interview. Can you not think of anything original or do you always copy others that you know to be superior to yourself? Since you found those last posts so belly-achingingly funny, I figured I'd post some more of Kathy's mind-boggling quotes of ignorance. I particularly love this one: "I have yet to find a mortgage company who will help me get out from this hell of a mortgage I have now. I don't understand since I have a CD that could serve as collateral and I could pay the outrageous prepayment penalty of over $6,000 before being refinanced. I could even put down a little money but, mortgage companies don't care when they see that bankruptcy in my credit report. Why can't companies look at the past history of the individual before they married an a** who ruined them financially?" FRIGGIn classic!! First, she wants to use a CD as collateral, or make a "down payment" on a refinance!!! The best part is SHE AGREED to this "OUTRAGEOUS PREPAYMENT PENALTY!!!" GENIUS MOVE IDIOT LADY! And BEST OF ALL, she wants the mortgage company to look at her credit from like 10 years ago rather than her RECENT CREDIT HISTORY!!!!!!! Here's how the conversation would go between the underwriter and the loan officer: L/O: Well, Kathleen needs a loan. She has really bad credit. Underwriter: Yea, but 10 years ago she never paid ANYTHING LATE! L/O: Uhh, are you sure? She is in bankruptcy and she hasn't paid her credit cards in 2 years. Underwriter: It's cool. Back in 1987 she was current for 6 months, let's write the loan! APPROVED! Next! "I fax or write letters to them and the Attorney General about 3 times a week. I decided if they were gonna make me miserable then I could do the same to them. At least I'm getting some attention." Baaaaaaaa!!! And she says I WASTE MY TIME!! The best part is, the attorney general is the one who is here to help this idiot lady, and she aims to "make them miserable." This is the problem with uneducated people - they are incapable of identifying their friends and enemies. And alas - the truth comes out. All this divrced, lonely delinquent wants it some attention. Ahhhhh...how cute... NEXT! "I filed bankruptcy in Nov. 2004 and it was closed in April 2005. My credit score is not too good....it is only in the 500's." A credit score in the 500's with a recent BK! Gotta love the typical deadbeat subprime borrower. N N N NEXT! "And YES, I know what kind of stupid a*s loan I have. I KNEW the interest rate could increase in TWO years but I researched and found that many interest rates, from reputable mortgage companies, have not changed or have decreased very little." If she KNEW she had an ARM, she would also KNOW that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY an Ameriquest ARM would EVER GO UNDER the loan's start rate. This is spelled out very clearly in the closing docs. Too bad this MUTT CANT READ!!! Now, this final one is kind of interesting. It is rather self-explanatory, but we can draw some very definite conclusion about the idiot-mutt-deadbeat lady. "They were the pushiest idiots I've ever dealt with but they made the deal sound very sweet. Ended up being pretty d**n bitter. I was so rushed through closing that I signed the contract, which was DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE I WAS MAILED." Ok, so she felt like they were being PUSHY. Isn't that a red flag? Don't most people walk away from pushy salespeople? Ok, next she gets rushed through the closing, during which she signed a contract that was DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL??? And THAT doesn't send up a signal that something is wrong? Well, since mutt-lady is so logical and so much more intelligent than us, OF COURSE she would sign this contract!! See, she is so logical that she puts our mere mortal logic to shame. She takes what seems like a common sense rescission and KEEPS THE LOAN!!! She is so much more logical and intelligent than us!!!! Please retard-mutt lady, TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!!!!!! Oh, I just saw this last one and HAD to post it. "Thanks to this wonderful company, I take anxiety and sleeping pills now!!...This has been a nightmare. I tell everyone I meet to NOT even consider this so-called "reputable" company. They have recently changed their name from Ameriquest to AMC Mortgage Services. I'm sure their reputation was getting so bad they changed their name to lure in more poor people they can rip off." First of all, what kind of loser has to take DRUGS to get through the day because they have a bad mortgage?????? Can you say EXCUSES???? This little tid-bit makes me see the REAL problem. It's obvious this lady has a substance abuse problem. Her rants and decision-making prove she was on drugs, but thdis little excerpt puts the nail in the coffin. Oh yea - GENIUS - AMC is the holdings company/parent-company of Ameriquest and ALWAYS HAS BEEN. Ameriquest has ALWAYS been under the AMC umbrella. No genius, they didn't change their name to AMC. This is just ONE MORE stupid comment this idiot-mutt has made. I hope she sees how ALL of these stupid-drug induced-bankrupt-uneducated-divorced-broke-and-mindless comments have made her look like a complete MUTT. An interview for employment with AMQ would go something like this: Are you a good liar? If not, go work for a reputable company. Do you have a conscience? If so, you don't need to be interviewing here. Do you know ANYTHING about mortgage loans? If not, good. We will teach you how to manipulate and deceive. Did you finish high school? If not, you are hired. I am in a very good position monkey boy. A much better one than you will ever be in. I understand more of business AND sales than you have even dared to think about. Kathy - Home 123/New Century, GMAC, Wilmington Finance and countless brokers were calling us 3 days prior to AMQ shutting down. They BEGGED us for interviews. Home 123 was literally outside of one Ameriquest branch trying to solicate the LO's for jobs. If you still dont believe me, call the police department in Bucks County PA. They wrote the manager from Home 123 a ticket for trespassing. He was willing to pay a fine to get the Bucks Co guys to come work for him! Try to think logically for a second Kathy. You own a mortgage company. You want to make money right? So, are you going to hire people that can't sell high fees, or are you going to hire people who are able to sell the HIGHEST FEES IN THE INDUSTRY??? Now, because you know nothing about business, you will say you are going to hire the most honest people. Well guess what? When a Loan Officer interviews with a sales manager, they don't quiz them on compliance, they don't ask them if they are moral, upstanding people. INSTEAD, they ask them for income docs to see how much they made at companies like Ameriquest. They ask them how many contests the LO won. How much volume a loan officer did is 1000x more important than knowing RESPA laws. No one cares about RESPA laws. That's corporate's responsibility. Salespeople and sales managers care about SALES!!!! Imagine that! I dont expect you to understand any of this. You are too ignorant to actually THINK for a minute, which is why you are in the position you are in. You know what? Lets look at your other comments to see just how ignorant you are: "No, unfortunately, I have a variable rate that was fixed for 2 years. I was just mad because I have made my payments early and am caught up until next March and they went ahead and raised my interest rate anyway. I know that interest rates are lower than the 10.378% they will charge me starting Jan. 1, 2006." OMG!! First of all, you paying early is YOUR CHOICE. No bank cares if you pay early. Paying early, in the banks' eyes, is equal to paying on time. The funny thing is, since you NEVER paid anything on time in the past, you feel like you are entitled to some kind of gift for paying the bill when you are supposed to???!!! OMG thats rediculous!! Whats worse is, you curse off customer service more than once, and then you expect them to do you a favor when you pay ahead???? Wow! Dumber than I thought! Oh by the way. The market rates have nothing to do with your arm. Your arm is based on the Libor. AMQ will charge 2% or the fully indexed rate, whichever is less. So just because prime may be at 7.75%, that has no bearing on your loan. If you were able to read your loan docs, you would see that spelled out in plain english. And here's the final proof that YOU are to blame, not AMQ. This is what you said about refinancing with AMQ. THESE ARE YOUR WORDS!! Notice that you admit AMQ is not at fault, but YOU ARE: "I was also desperate since I had never charged anything over $2,000 on the ONE credit card that I used. Ameriquest based most on my credit and employment of 26 years and we still got a rate of 8.5%. I know this is my fault. I should have researched more companies...If ever I could turn back time and be a little smarter....." Ok princess? Are you going to quit with your lies? You are going to be complaining until the day you die, and you are STILL going to be in debt to AMQ. Do your family - especially your kids - a favor. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Admitting you F'd up is a great start, but now you need to go out and get a job and try to fix your life. You are a mess lady and you are depressing everyone that reads this post.

Mark, I really don't care that you were laid off and I certainly don't believe you make a lot of money at GMAC. As for that company, I'll make sure to steer clear of it also. And as for what I make, it is NO business of yours. I don't get on the net and advertise my personal business. I'm a little smarter than that. I'm a whole lot smarter than you, that's for sure, since I've always worked for reputable companies and have NEVER lied to a customer. You are lying about recruiters. No one wants a lying thief working for them. Oh, it was probably the recruiters for the dozen other fraudulent mortgage companies that would love to have another employee with the great gift of lying with no conscience. And no, I do not feel stupid for making that comment because I believe it's true just as I believe you are a liar. I've heard plenty of what's been happening at Ameriscum. I keep up with everything that is happening. I am thoroughly enjoying their downfall. It's time they paid for all the grief they have put people through and they are paying good. If you have a list of clients that refer you to their friends, they must be mentally ill. Or ... they have no friends and that is why they refer you. Only an idiot would do that to someone else, especially someone they consider a friend. I have heard of absolutely NO ONE who is satisfied with their loan and I have talked to a lot of people. These payments were made up plus but you foolish company can't seem to get their records straight. AMQ must have monkeys working in the billing department also. For your information, since that time I have straightened up my life but you wouldn't know the meaning of that statement. I am a former Ameriquest customer. I have always paid my bills on time. I got out of my Ameriquest mortgage on my own, I was not foreclosed on, I did not go bankrupt and I never once had a late payment to Ameriquest. How does that make me a deadbeat customer? I think should really speak before you open up your rotten mouth. Actually, keep it up because it only proves our point. The majority of Ameriquest employees were uneducated morons. No professional in any field would bash their customers, former or otherwise. Because anyone with half a brain knows that if you stay in the same profession, they may become your customers again. You're making a real good sell for us deabdeats to use GMAC Mortgage with all the winners like you they have. And let me give you a clue. I could care less if a MILLION recruiters were waiting outside Ameriquest to pick up their trash. It only shows us that there are more companies like Ameriquest. Please be sure to let us know who the recruiters worked for - that will let us know who to steer clear from. Before you try to insult me personally, don't waste your breath. You don't know me, you don't know my story and until you do, your opinion means nothing- YOU mean nothing.

If you would take a minute out of your angry life to read, you would see that I no longer work for Ameriquest. I DID get laid off, and I am making more money at GMAC NOW than I did at Ameriquest. I got paid my overtime, and I made over 100K a year EVERY YEAR at AMQ for just under 5 years. You make what? 30K? 40K? (Most AMQ customers do). But for the record: Other mortgage companies absolutely LOVE ex-AMQ LOs. We sold the highest fees in the industry. We are the best at what we do. I dont know if you heard any stories about the day AMQ got shut down. We had recruiters out front of our offices offering us positions on the spot. (Now dont you feel stupid about your comments about AMQ reps not being able to find work?). There is no ex-AMQ employee that doesn't have a handful of job opportunities. I personally have a list of clients that referred me to friends and family because I changed their lives. What you aren't willing to accept is, for every persoon that got shafted by AMQ, there are 50 people who got a great loan. You think this website constitutes a majority, which is plain ignorance. Go on bashing us if you want. But remember, we all know how stupid you are for being in the position you are in. I've read your other posts, and BOY ARE YOU ANGRY! And STUPID! Here's what I've read: "I have yet to find a mortgage company who will help me get out from this hell of a mortgage." Well, deadbeats that dont pay their bills dont get loans. That's common sense. "The Ameriquest lady would listen to nothing I had to say. I hate to say, but I became unglued and said things I probably shouldn't have but a person can only take so much. After telling her what I thought of her and her company, she hung up on me. Not surprising... has happened to me many times." Wow! You curse off customer service reps that have NO CONTROL over your loan??? HAHAHAHA!! This REALLY shows how much of a genius you are. "Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or company that would take a look at me and know I am fully prepared to make my payments to them on time, please let me know. I have gained a little more financial stability now and need to get away from this horrible company before they suck me dry. If I'm willing to pay the $6,000 plus to refinance, you know I'm desperate!!! YES! You ARE desperate. And until you decide to stop being a deadbeat, you are always going to be a desperate deadbeat. Now run away to your trailer park and cry about how bad AMQ salespeople are. All I know if I have never been bankrupt, divorced, or in need of an AMQ loan. Sucks 2 B U. :)

Your discussion, if you want to call it that, was quite ignorant so I thought I should throw in a little intelligence. But you Ameriscum employees wouldn't know what that is would you? And I see you are easily distracted. Do you get distracted when you lie to a potential customer's face? Can you look them in the eye? You probably can because you have no conscience, only a pocket to put the money you make from scamming people everyday. I will post my thoughts here or anywhere on this sight. I have experience in detecting theives like you and your other sorry co-workers. The great Ameriquest? That really made me laugh. We'll see how great you think it is when they lay your sorry butt off. And it will happen. It has already begun and I am enjoying every minute of it. I like to read posts from stupid employees like yourself who whine after getting laid off. Or, as in your co-worker's case, not paid for overtime. Waaaaaaaaa! Like anyone on here really cares that he didn't get his overtime. Go cry somewhere else. You both obviously have the experience. I didn't wish to add anything to your ignorant posting. I wouldn't get online and whine about not receiving a little overtime pay. There are too many more important things to think about such as how you work for the most fraudulent company out there. I figured since I was always paid my overtime with no problem, I assumed everyone else did as well. But since I GUESS you have no reason to lie about not receiving your overtime, I feel like I might have spoken too soon. It just seems so odd that they would pay one branch and not another... Here's the deal: You are going to have a hard time proving you worked those hours. But if you can, I know my overtime rate at AMQ was $17.70 an hour. Before ANY commission was paid, I averaged about 36K a year base. So that's what you shuld have made if you worked a LOT of overtime. And YES, I made between 7-11K every check. I must have been lucky to have a good branch and a lot of experience. Anyway, its a shame you had a rough time working at AMQ. For me, it was a huge help in my life. I made mucho dollars the RIGHT way - by making my customers' lives better. Granted, AMQ sells high cost loans. But its not without warrant. Most AMQ borrowers are deadbeats, and HAVE TO pay those high fees because other banks are scared to give them money.

Sure Mark your a happy camper because you made your $11,000.00 check every month. Who wouldnt be happy with that outcome, which obviously goes to your sales ability and resources....good for you. I completely understand Mary, I worked from 8 to 8 and sometimes 10 during the week and every sat from 9 to 12 and took home checks that averaged about $2000 to $2500. I worked those hours because I thought I was building a future for my family and kids, who never got to see me. What do I need to do be be involved? I also have friends that are back east that worked the same hours and never got paid overtime. I was new to the business and AMC knew it and the managers bullied me into not marking down my OT and told me if I did I would be fired. I and the whole team I was on worked OT and didnt get paid. Oh sure we complained about it, but felt like we couldnt do anything because our jobs were on the line. Tell me what you need and I will have more people than you can want contact those attorneys. And, by the way Mark, being new to the business, I never knew I was ripping people off. It was only until I left and started to work for a broker that has morals did I understand what happened. I am sure it was the same for you Mary. We will band together and make sure they pay what they owe.

First of all, if you weren't being paid overtime, why wait until they close down the branches to take action?? Furthermore, I was NEVER shorted on my overtime. Everything was digital. If you put your hours in properly and printed out PROOF of your hours worked, there is no WAY that you wouldn't have been paid. I recall being paid a "holiday premium" 3 times in 3 months, even though I never worked over a holiday. Along with my 7 to 11 thousand dollar checks every month, I have no qualms about AMQ's paying policies. Also, as a SALES PERSON, I dont understand how you say, "I am glad the AG's office made them pay back all those poor consumers." If the "poor consumers" were taken advantage of, it was YOU that did it. Not Ameriquest. And if you had such a problem selling high cost, sub-prime loans at AMQ, WHY DID YOU WORK SO MANY HOURS? Why didn't you go work for a conforming banker or broker? You are exactly like the whining customers. You KNOW what you are doing yet you do it anyway, and then you complain when you dont like the outcome. Its retarded.
