American Custom Tuning Lack of response - hard to get a hold of Salem Ohio
Order placed for truck running board. Bank card dinged right away. After that, no confirmation on order, update on pending shipment, tracking number, inventory, progress....nor have I been able to speak to anyone at the advertised phone number. Just on HOLD for extended period of time.
I'm not firmly saying they are a ripoff but failure to be transparent with an order exceeding $300.
The web searching, business search, etc is showing a lack of (absence of) a broad presence which has me concerned. My error was in not investigating the background of the company before I placed the order, drawn by the glamorous appearance of their website.

American Custom Tuning appears to have instructed Keystone Auto in Kansas City, KS where the truck running boards were drop shipped to me. I never received an update on my order from American Custom Tuning regarding the processing or progress of my order (besides the credit card charge).
The running boards were installed and functioning very well!
