Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company (just like HCW, who was sued) markets their home warranties under false pretenses, and uses deceptive practices to lure in customers. We believe they pay for fake reviews, magazine and other article write-ups touting their company, then when its time to pay the claims, come up with a million reasons NOT TO PAY. Somehow 10 yrs later they are still getting away with it. It's time they have a class action lawsuit against them

DO NOT BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM! And, Do not be fooled by the fake 4 star ratings on sites like BBB and even consumer affairs (not to be confused with Consumer Reports). These scammers have figured out a way to get around all the supposed verification of actual customers. One thing we noticed is that they ask new customers to rate them WHEN YOU FIRST SIGN UP and before you have actually had any real dealings with them; and certainly before any claims have been filed.

They then go and post these up to look like they have all these satisfied customers which fools BBB and the other review sites for some reason. They train their salespeople to lie so well that you think you just got a great deal, so yeah I'll click on the button and say something nice. We didn't do it as we don't make a practice of reviewing anyone until they've actually proven to be worthy of it.

This company will not pay your claim, despite it being a covered item and during the covered period. Being the scammers that they are, they will try to turn it around to make it look like you're the one scamming them. Our dishwasher broke down just 2 days after our one month pre-existing waiting period, which can and does happen, but they are acting like it was broken before (like we would wait a whole month to get it repaired!) and they are refusing and saying it was among other things: a fire, bad maintenance, and of course must have been a pre-existing condition.

The tech they sent out told them it was none of those (its only 6 yrs old) and they still won't pay, actually telling me "we aren't paying a dime, you can take that to the bank!"  In looking at other customer's reviews, they tell of the same thing happening to them. We paid $710 for this "peace of mind" policy. We are in the process of trying to get every penny of our money back from these thieves, but they are nasty. All we can say is, DO NOT BELIEVE THE RATINGS AND STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS "COMPANY".
