I would like to add my experience with Mr. Duncan. I too was frustrated as I had placed and order of 5 doors with Mr. Duncan. There was a brief time (approx. 2-3 weeks) that I was left incommunicado, however Mr. Duncan came through and AS PROMISED delivered a quality product, be it several weeks later than anticipated. He compensated with a discount on the doors. I am convinced that Mr. Duncan was placed in a horrible situation and has made it through while maintaining his quality standard as well as his dignity. As a builder, I am pleased to continue to do business and place additional orders with Mr. Duncan and his company. S**t happens to everyone, the important thing is how one handles the situation. I am convinced that Mr. Duncan made the best of a potentially devastating situation and came through as promised.

I too bought a door from Affordable Iron Doors and waited a really long time to get it. However, after Gary explained their company had been a victim of theft from a previous manufacturer in China and being that we were referred to him by our builder… we trusted the information in their weekly update report. Once we did finally get the door, Gary gave us a nice discount for the inconvenience + the new product was even nicer than the samples in the showroom! Long story short....I would definitely buy another door or refer a family member to Affordable Iron Doors.

However there are always 2 sides to each story, please allow me to explain the circumstances... We had been doing business with a once reputable company in China named FUJIAN SHENGEN ARTS & CRAFTS CO.,LTD.No.2, Xinguang road, Xinyang industrial park, Haicang district,Xiamen,China TEL: +86 592 8832952 FAX: +86 592 6511881 ZIP: 361022. Contact name: Simon 011-861-3950052561 [email protected] Unfortunately that manufacturer resolved they were tired of dealing with the pressures felt by a more established local dealer that had lost allot of sales to our young company. First the two conspired to destroy the credibility and reputation of Affordable Iron Doors in the most vicious manner imaginable. Next we had been notified by the manufacturer of a massive flood that had demolished their facility sending multiple workers to the hospital which resulted in additional delays leaving some clients to begin questioning the legitimacy of the situation. This however was later proven to be false based on the inability of the manufacturer to provide evidence and later by their own admission. The final blow was the last container of doors we ordered never arrived whatsoever and even worse they had been paid in full! Affordable Iron Doors took immediate action to update each client as well as offer a reasonable discount on every order. Then we focused on correcting this set back with a giant leap forward introducing an entirely new line of heavy duty 12 gauge iron doors made from a distinguished overseas manufacturers that has now custom built each door we sell to pass coastal hurricane tests....making it one of the finest doors available in the world! We sincerely apologize to all of our many clients who were affected by the dishonesty of the previous manufacturer. Affordable Iron Doors can positively assure you this was an isolated incident that has since been resolved and put into the past. A special thank you to those great clients who stood by our side, never forgetting that it's not what happens to us in life, but how we handle it. Wow! I wish I read some of the reviews about Affordable Iron Doors before I decided to order a door from them. My experience is very similar to the story above. WARNING!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS OFFICE. HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY JUST LIKE HE DID TO ME. Gary Duncan pretends to be a big company and a manufacturer, but he is not. He is just a pure scam artist. I had my heart set on a door I saw on their website so, naively, I agreed to wait eight weeks for the door. It has now been over eleven weeks and we still do not have a door! I paid a 50% deposit and now he does not want to return it. He belongs in jail. Gary Duncan is a liar and I would advise anyone considering doing business with him to go somewhere else.

Wow! MORE LIES!!! We have cancelled our order and absolutely are NOT doing business with this man.

We are very sorry to see that one of our favorite clients has become upset and decided the best way to handle the problem would be to post multiple negative reviews across the internet. This is really unfortunate because this particular client had been referred to us from a very established lumber company that we've done business with for a really long time which has produced many satisfied clients who did receive their order exactly on time. The long story short was that this clients project was running behind and so was that shipment of doors. Affordable Iron Doors stepped up with a substantial discount and had apologized repeatedly while constantly keeping the client up to date with status updates. Most important part for the readers is that this client has now agreed to wait the 2 weeks it's late in exchange for evidence of a flood that had occurred at our factory overseas....Really just got blown out of proportion. Bottom line is that soon our client will have a beautiful iron door that they will appreciate for many years to come.
