Unicare Dental Unicare - Dr. Farid Noie did poor quality and unnecessary work Webster Texas
I first went to Dr. Noie in March of 2004. I was 36 years old. I was not in any pain. I didn't think I had any real problems with my teeth. I had just gotten dental insurance through work and wanted to take care of myself. I had been to other dentists in the past, but only if there was one particular concern. I wanted to do things right, by getting cleanings and checkups every six months. Dr. Noies diagnosis frightened me. He said I needed a lot of work, or I would lose my teeth.
My insurance only covers $1000 a year for dental. Dr. Noie said I could finance the rest through Care Credit. I'm looking at the dental records now. Within 4 months, Dr. Noie gave me 9 crowns, (yes 9) 2 fillings, and a root canal.
I tried returning every 6 months for cleanings and checkups, but got too discouraged to continue. The staff was always "finding" additional problems with my teeth that would cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to fix. Within 3 years, I spent over 15 thousand dollars at Unicare Dental.
I'm 40 years old, and I have a mouth full of porcelain. The crowns look terrible, they don't match my natural teeth. They are poor quality too. I've had four of them replaced by another dentist.
Looking back, I feel foolish. I trusted this man and his staff. I had a pretty smile that is now ruined. I have saved everything, records, receipts, etc...if anyone out there wishes to contact me, feel free to do so.
