Compusa Sold me a useless warranty Fountain Valley California
I bought a hp pavillion at Compusa less than 2 years ago and purchased the extended warranty. My screen wouldn't stay upright so I tried to take it to the nearest Compusa. 400 miles away! They closed my store that I bought it from. After getting approval from some manager on the phone. They sent me a box and told me to send the laptop to them. I sent it and they sent it back saying that they don't cover the hinges breaking on the screen and until I get it repaired my whole warranty is void. Lucky enough for me I can work on computers my self. I ordered the parts for 40 dollars on ebay and installed it. Works good now, but isn't that fraud, selling you a warranty that they don't follow through with. Don't buy a warranty from these guys. They are rip off artists.
