Americredit Financial Services, Inc Sent an 1099C to the IRS and then I received a 1099c from them stating I had a $7,026 debt cancellation of which I do not nor had any credit with them. Fort Worth Texas

I received a Notice of Deficiency from IRS stating Americredit Financial services, Inc that they sent in a 1099c Cancellation of Debt. I had absolutely no debt with them whatsoever! Never did business with them. Now I have to pay $60 to file a claim with IRS and go to court over this. Very upset. Do not know how this could happen.

This is wild... i have the same CP2000 notice from Americredit! This is crazy, we have never done any business with them adn tehy are claiming we have $9,659.00 for same date 10/20/2012.
This makes no sense.
