Beaches Open MRI MRI Jacksonville Beach Florida
I had to get an MRI with and without Contrast. I chose Beaches Open MRI because they were in my network and close to home. I have had about 20 MRI's over the past 5 years due to several spinal issues and surgeries. These scans were for a basic update due to my last scan of the lumbar region being over 12 months old. I got the scan with no problem but when I came back 2 days later to get a copy of my report, I was told NO. You can't have it. You have to wait at least 14 days and we will not give it to you. They will happily send it to a Dr but refuse to give me a copy of my report. As stated before, I have had many scans over the years and ALWAYS got a copy of the report & a CD with the image. This is the first time i have ever heard such a thing. They claim Drs asked them to do this when I know this to be a lie since I asked my Drs office about it, they laughed. I literally laughed when I was told I cant have it thinking the place was joking. They had no problem billing me insurance but almost 2 weeks later and I still have not been able to obtain my report. I had to file a complaint with the State and BBB. I may end up have to get the law and and attorney involved it is that bad. I just want what EVERY OTHER IMAGING PLACE DOES. Give me my record from my scan. Its like they want to keep it a secret or seomthing. I am not sure why any company would want to do this to patients but they must have one screwed up owner who wants to lose customers. Trust me, use anyone else. There are so many so don't fall for this scam like I did. $5,000+ later they get paid and I have no report.
