Complaint Review: Yorktown Home owner association - PO Box 3461 Alabama

This army guy who lived next to us retaliated and harassed us because we had to call the police due to him and his friends throwing fireworks in our yard on the last 4th of July in 2019. He and his wife had some nerve to even get mad because they were in the wrong for them throwing fireworks in our yard.

He was being transferred to Oklahoma but he was going to be a complete A** him and his wife. He nearly ran over my family member who was cutting the grass. He usually parked in his driveway. My grandmother who is 88 me made loud noises and it hurt her ears. Why type of person does this.

We were taking care of her and her house and they were harassing her too. Talk about sorry human trash. But to hurt her ears like that was the last straw for me. Then his wife would stare me down at her front door while I was getting my own mail at our own mailbox! So who was she to be suspicious of me doing anything to their property!

She had no right to watch me! But then the new people who moved into their house was very unfriendly and you know they bad mouthed us about calling the police. Well too bad they shouldn't have trashed our yard with their fireworks.

  But after 13 years of living in Yorktown took an emotional toll on us. People think there something living in Yorktown & thinks they can harass & abuse you,

HOA shouldn't be allowed to get away with this! Putting leins for any amount of money and being able to take your home! People are nasty and snot nose who live in HOA! But when they mess with you unjustly watch out!  Board members feel they have the right to harass and bully you and because they have a cop on the board they think they're untouchable! 

Homeowners in Yorktown don't have any rights! They will scare out people who would like to live there if they are downright bullies and thugs! And they are crooked!

    They are going to use a former cop to try and intimidate homeowners in Yorktown. He seems to be living quite well being in charge of the money OUR MONEY! That we have to pay to live in Yorktown and they are being bullies and intimidating, and they don't do anything for the neighborhood but pay,  the light bill for the street lighting. 

We have a right to ask where our money is going that we spend the Yorktown HOA. But there has always been something fishy about the Yorktown HOA! They are using peoples hard earn money for them to live more comfortably!

  They think because they have a former phenix city cop on the Yorktown Board. They can bully homeowners! WELL, THEY CAN'T! It's OUR MONEY!

I reflexively despise HOAs. I could never live under one. I'd be at war with them from day one.

Be careful though of tangling with these folks. If you can just get out of the situation without taking a bath, do so.

Unfortunately in most states they have incredible power to do anyone but the most tenacious and dogged opponents a lot of damage.

I hope for your sake you're just a renter there and not an owner. As a renter, whatever was going on, you're at much less risk for anything worse than just eviction.

The other board members are going to sick him on me because he used to be a dirty phenix city cop. And they always side against you and he is the one who manages the money. Well, I will turn them in and have them investigated because they're not fair or transparent with OUR MONEY!

They wouldn't respond so nasty with you having issues with your neighbor with them putting their trash 4 or 5 days prior to trash day. These other neighbors are just plain nasty. But I do not want their trash flying on my property. 

  They aren't being very neighborly either. By doing it! They think they can just dread on your rights these other neighbors in an HOA!
