You know, now that you charge for sites to list with you, I know that my searches will result in less results. Why would I search with Yahoo, knowing Im not seeing EVERYTHING, only the information from companies who can afford, or are willing to afford to pay.

The answer is, I wouldnt - and I will tell all my clients not to and I have cancelled my Yahoo email and bill pay and everything else I used to do with you. I will tell everyone I know that Yahoo is only displaying results from PAYING businesses, so we cant expect to see the smaller companies that cant afford to be in your engine or the ones like me, that could, but refuse on principle.

You are setting a standard that will be your downfall, mark my words. We know you are not the only one, but we had grown to count on you to keep the Internet a place for the people, not the rich people. Now you have bent over and let commerce push you toward less service and more money for you. I hope that, in the long run, you are very sorry you did that. You have ruined everything I was loyal to you for and I will not ever return or forgive it.

This is a blatant disregard for the way the people wish things were. You should be forced to have a disclaimer in LARGE LETTERS at the FRONT OF YOUR SEARCH ENGINE warning users that only PAID SUBSCRIBERS are listed therein.

Shame on you. Shame. I am repulsed.

I did check into that too. What will happen is, for example
(as it was explained to us)...

Lets say, you sell Antique Dolls and your web site came up first with Antique Dolls. I come along and bid on the first position for Antique Dolls and pay Yahoo their fee for that position.

Your there now, untill someone else wants it and pays for it!
