There is alot one can say about Xtreme Promotions. One of them is not that it will take you where they say it will. This company has to be the biggest scam around. I first came to rip-off report a week after being promoted to "account executve" and I being ignorant continued working there until a couple weeks ago I finally quit. Please READ THIS STORY before thinking about applying to a company by the name of APEX MARKETING or XTREME PROMOTIONS.

I remember going to speak to Bruno and he had a charm that hyped you up about the position and I remember him saying "Were going to wrap up hiring today!!". I like everybody else was nervous about getting hired or not. I was working at a call center at the time and I was waiting for a call back from paula (the secretary) to tell me if I was elgible for a 2nd round interview. The deadline was 5pm and what a coincidence that I was called right at 5pm along with another 6 people. That was odd because I was told there was only one position available.???? Anyways, I went on the 2nd round interview with an individual by the name of John. Great guy and all BUT bad intentions. So i went back to the office to meet with Bruno and he introduced me to john and we left the office. At first I was curious why we were leaving but I thought that a pep talk was the reason. I was wrong!! I saw a 83 Nissan Maxima pull up, I thought it was a delivery guy but it ended up being OUR RIDE!! I was clueless but I thought that there was a good reason for this..We climbed inside that car and he began to ask me questions about marketing-I guess to test my knowledge or something. We went to a residential community and they began to count the houses on both sides and when I least expected it, in my business attire I was asked to step out of the car. We stepped out and began to walk on the sidewalk and started to walk towards a door. I was clueless until I found out that this is a DOOR TO DOOR business. At the time the company we were representing was Bellsouth, a fortune 87 company. Basically, we upgraded people to more expensive plans and hidden fees. I would know this becuase I closed a relative and when they're bill arrived they were charged over 120 dollars-it was a big difference from the 52 dollars that she paid the previous month. After 7 hours of walking in the heat, I went back to the office and had a meeting with Bruno. He told me that he would give me the oppurtunity to prove myself and that in a couple months would be elgible to open my own office. I felt like I was given the chance of a lifetime but I was wrong. The door to door business brought me to trouble with the law, trouble with my bills and not to mention INCOME. I had to waste money more on gas then I made in one day. It's funny how the "CORPORATE TRAINERS" teach keeping a positive attitude even if you came home with $0. To make this story a little shorter, I would not recommend this job to anyone for the simple fact of it's instability. I'm not a lazy person but it can get tiring when you see 50 house doors in one day and you have to walk around the same community until 7pm. I chose to leave because of an encounter with the police. Residents of the community claimed that we were "pushy" but the whole time I thought it was called "Closing with action". This job is as pointless as a job at mc donalds. The only reason I'm submitting this report to the bad business bureau is because it is a bad business. Ad's claim that you'll make 85k minimum a year.Which is a lie!!! I mean Bruno drove a Neon. It wasn't even an SRT!!! I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone but an athlete that has great closing skiils. If you read some of the previous reports about PMG or CYDCOR or APEX MARKETING, it is ALL TRUE!!! The office descriptions, the faculty and most importantly the fact that one cannot be successful in this business is 100% True!!! Please take advice from someone who's been through that part of hell and DONT work for this company!! Do banking or accounting but NEVER EVER do PMG Marketing!!!

I think this is hilariious. I am glad someone looked thru my report and found it somewhat interesting. Well, Pro Marketing Group is still very famous on the streets. Just the other day I was at the bank and I offered a job to a girl who was standing in front of the bank and she was selling some lost children toys. To make it short she was a power closer and I thought she would be a great asset to my marketing division in a call center which is FYI Base + Commmission. Anyways when I offered the job she wanted me to make it clear that I wasn't affliated to PMG or CYDCOR in any way or matter. I made it clear but I noticed her skepticism and left her my number. Thats funny!! Well I still do not recommend PMG for anyone. No matter much I hate you. Well, time is money and money is time so I have to go back to business. Shout out to "J"!!

Hey Ed...

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Thu, August 10, 2006

What's up Ed. I know you posted this a while back but I just found it today. I used to work with Bruno, we started at about the same time. I was in Stefan's office While he was in Philly. I've been out of the biz for a while, I left August of 2003. Everything you say there is totally true. These guys are total pieces of s***! Especially Stefan and Raf. Anyway, I'm gonna keep this real short. I was prompted to respond to you because I have a question...Is the Neon Bruno drives green? Because if it is, it's the same one he's been driving since he was a leader in Philly working out of Stefan's office. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh how I hope you respond to this to confirm... How great would that be? He would have had that s***box for more than 4 yrs over 3 of them as a manager. Way to be pullin in the big bucks. What a joke!! I always felt bad for Bruno because he is a totally awesome person. He got all wrapped up in the biz and now he's stuck there like all the other brainwashed mgrs. He never had a "real" job before so this is all he's ever known. So sad, he could have done anything but instead he's stuck living the Cydcor dream and getting nowhere. Whatever...I guess he'll forever be Stefan's little puppet. If you have any stories about Stefan or Raf or any of those guys you should share them. I love looking through these reports and seeing that someone found this web site and it prompted them to leave the biz or not go back to an interview. It happens so much more than it used to. They can change names and move all they want it's still the same shitty door to door bullshit. These guys are all scam artists and they think they're offering the greatest opportunity ever. What a joke. Peace. -j-
