This is outrageous! The state of Wisconsin has switched companies that distribute citizens child support payments received via debit card from Chase (which was great) to EPPICard. I tried to add this alleged debit card to my Paypal account and for reasons unknown to me or Paypal it would not allow me to do so. So I called and ordered a new card thinking there was a glitch with the first one but upon receiving the second card I had the same problem. When I tried to order items from Amazon and tried to use this same card to pay for my purchases directly through Amazon I received an email stating that payment was declined! After having spent hours trying to reach a real person via the number on the back of the card to no avail, calling the local Grant County Wisconsin Child Support Office who could not have cared less and who have also stolen child support from my children with their unlawful collection practices, and searching for the issuing bank online also to no avail, I decided to write this complaint. This is ridiculous! ANYTHING to save a dollar - which is fine - I am all for saving money - if it works for the intended purpose! In fact, since we live in a very rural area this is costing the families receiving child support by limiting their ability to access THEIR money via online purchases and forces them to shop local at a significant increase in the cost of most everything. The really CRIMINAL part of this is that when you try to contact someone to find out why you can't use your card this company obviously, intentionally HIDES behind their online interface.

I have also read several reports about how this company keeps your money to collect interest before applying it to your account and last month I didn't get access to my child support until the 16th of the month when I normally received it within the first few days of the month from CHASE. The only other option is to have your child support direct deposited into a bank account however, I do not use banks and this is exactly why so I guess I will just have to live with it because NO ONE is going to do anything about this ZEROX company's GREEDY, DEFICIENT, UNETHICAL practices. I can't believe the state of our government in this country! Nothing the government does will suprise me from this point on and ZEROX will never get anyn of my business again or anyone I know and you will likely see this complaint more than once because I plan to file it with every consumer protection agency that will let me.
