airtravel.net seems to offer great airfares and give confirmation numbers for them then switch the RATE AT TIME OF PAYMENT!!!!!! SUCH A HASSLE, INSULTS MY INTELLIGENCE TO DEAL WITH SUCH PEOPLE.

Airtravel.net offers discounted airfares based upon the availability at the time of the enquiry. If a customer does not make a reservation at the time of quote then the fare is subject to change. We always advise customers of this. We are an airfare consolidator and do not have control over the airlines pricing. We are simply offering a service to passengers looking for a discount fare. This company has been in business for the past 10 years and has been registered with the Better Business Bureau since we started. It is certainly not in our interest to scam customers! Once ticketed all tickets sold through our company are confirmed and you do not pay any additional fees after payment has been taken. The customer can purchase a ticket online and the final cost is displayed to them BEFORE they purchase the ticket. Some customers can become dissapointed if a fare wich they have seen before or have been previously quoted is no longer available. This in unfortunate but is why we always advise fares are not guarenteed if they dont purchase at the time of quoting either online or by phone.
