I also have been ripped off by travelvalueplus.
I first noticed bills on my credit card of small amounts several months ago, but i ignored them as everyone else did.
However, when I was billed on christmas day i knew something was up, so I looked WLI travel up on the internet, and, lo-and-behold, they have ripped off hundreds of consumers.
they bill small amounts every month, mine was $12. I found another reoprt on this site about them, giving the phone number 1-800-890-4892. I called this, and after talking to the lady, she agreed to refund all of the past 5 months' charges, although this was "not their usual refund policy". I asked her about all the other consumers that had been ripped off and she refused to comment, and when I aksed what they were doing about it, she said that they were handling the problem on a "case by case basis", ie they were waiting for everyone to call up individually.
this is unacceptable. When i asked her where they got my billing information, she said that by entering my email address in a survey on 1-800-flowers.com i authorised them to bill my credit card. this is garbage. she said that all of their online partner offers were "as clear as possible." this is garbage too.
So if you see a charge on your card beginning with WLI*, REPORT IT!
