Just noticed multiple charges of 9.00 on my debit card starting back in april until now in july. I never really thought anything of it since i use my debit card for everything except these past few months where i've kept my checking account pretty dry and 3 times their 9.00 charges have resulted in overdraft fee's on $30 bucks each.

I'm pretty sure they got my info from 1-800-flowers.com since i've made multiple purchases there.

I make plans to contact them by phone to have the money they charged me refunded and will also be contacting my bank to attempt to get the overdraft fees refunded.

I also plan on contacting several companies to deal with this type of fraud/scam.

http://home.reservationrewards.com/ We also had this $9 charged mysteriously show up on our credit card and as a result an account that were were in the process of closing went $4.00+ into overdraft. We were promptly charged $29.00 by Bank One and threatened that if we didn't rectify the situation within 5 days, we would be charged $5 until it was. After some investigation, we were pretty annoyed to discover the charges had been austomatically billed to us for the past several months after having ordered movie tickets online through Fandango. Fandango and Reservations Rewards - it turns out - are owned by the same company! It was explained to us that one of the options offered on the Fandango site (while ordering tickets) was information about travel and reservations. Whether it was clearly explained on the website that there would be a charge for these services, or if it was selected by default is not clear at this point, but this is how we started getting regularly charged by reservationsrewards.com for services we never wanted. The total ripoff for July was about $45.00 plus at least $9 for gawd knows how many months previous. (Still checking this out.) We called Fandango and they were actually pretty reasonable on the phone - they agreed to cancel this 'service' and refund our money to the bank account - (I *assume* they will refunds everything back to the beginning of the charges and not just the latest.) We just closed that Bank One account today so when and if our money *is* refunded to that account, the bank tells ut that the transaction will automatically REOPEN the account and we'll have to go through the whole process of closing it again. Such fun.
