I am writing this report out of sheer frustration, as I needed to purchase a new phone as my old Note 5 was done. So I went to Wireless Wave In Milton at the Kiosk, and while I noticed it was busy after approximately 1.5 hrs I was able to purchase a new phone. Yet wait not that simple, as they did not have any stock available of the phone I wanted to purchase ( Note 8) not even the newest version, I stated I would go to the next city to pick it up as it was only a 25 min drive. I stated I would return the next day and asked the sales rep if he could download my contact info and then I would hand in my old phone as a trade in. Next day I returned back, again short staffed, only one sales rep, who had to turn away customers, and take care of 4 people at the same time. Another 45 mins passed by eventually I get seen, however more customers come to the kiosk so again sales rep is trying to look after everybody.

Eventually I am seen and my contact info is switched, so we erase all the old contact info on my old phone and I turn it in and leave. I get home and cannot work my phone, my son realizes sales rep forgot to put in the sim card when sales rep was transferring all my contact, pics, and business information onto my new phone. We call sales rep, return back to kiosk pick up a sim card and guess what??? all my newly transferred information was ERASED!. Apparently I am told by a very unsympathetic, sales rep upon returning back today that Samsung is one of the only phones that this will happen to. If the transferring of information is not done with the sim card in, then your information will not be stored. Can you imagine?? anniversary pictures, weddings, business notes, and 130 contacts gone into thin air. Should I have backed up my information yes, and I did but not recently.

So now because Wireless Wave is short staffed, I lose....big time. The sales rep said to me today, " what do you want me to do" you can call and make a complaint but there is no complaint department as you have to get in contact with your carrier, either Bell or Rogers who own wireless wave. WOW! even the staff have no empathy- ( Matt ). What surprised me the most was Matt's comment about the manager being at a barbecue yesterday, ( why would this happen when a kiosk is running short staffed ). He also told me that he's had customers who have lost pictures of their deceased children ( I cannot for the life of me understand why he would even bring this up during our conversation). Again no understanding or empathy. In future if you want good customer service, product knowledge, and understanding DO NOT go to Wireless Wave in Milton. Two thumbs down, as you may be in a worst predicament then when you started,
