First we had to do alot of research on this as this customer was made extremely happy almost a year ago now, and unfortunately forgot she was mad at us and filed this initial report. Facts are important to us as things aren't always the way they are portrayed by someone when they are trying to get alot of free things for their own inconveniences. By the time Caran contacted us to see what her options were for her party,, the weather channel which we were monitoring with Hurricane Rita coming,,, had already predicted she (Rita) would miss our area and go east MAYBE, dallas would see some rain ! With this in mind, and the fact she was the only party we had on a very busy weekend even concerned about it,,, we still let her reschedule her party last minute only charging a deposit to be applied when she came back out. When she arrived, she was already mad cause her turnout wasn't going to be as previously expected. We got her going as quickly as we could even though her party was running late,, even when she finally let us get her started people were still arriving. We had as we normally do a very busy schedule and when people book parties with us they expect to be able to play. The parties coming in behind her were not going to be very happy with us if we let her just come and wait for her tardy people and then play as long as they want. We can't work things that way. Even with all of this as a backround, we did allow additional play trying help an obviously mad lady (even as her husband stood at the counter and cussed out a fellow manager). Using language kids and most adults shouldn't have to hear, we still did our best to accomodate. Finally, after numerous emails back and forth which we still have in our possession,,, we not only satisfied this customer to the best of anyones ability on the spot,,, we ALSO gave them an additional FREE two hour party. 100 % FREE even though we didn't do all the wrong claimed,, even though Dallas never even saw a drop of rain from Rita,,, even though this one customer felt cheated not by us but by Mother Nature. We took care of her and her group, in the beginning going against our own policies and making exceptions for her ,, in the middle , doing everything we could to show her group a good time,, and in the end, not only NEVER charging more than she agreed to pay (which is what she booked),, also gave her group an additional FREE two hour party--- only to find out a year after the FACTS, this website is creeping up the charts trying to maliciously portray an honest Dallas attraction. We called Caran when we saw this site and she honestly doesn't remember anything about being mad at us and firing up this report she remembers being- Above and Beyond the Call of Duty-- TAKEN CARE OF and Satisfied by Whirlyball of Dallas. Facts are important to us.
