Recently I purchased a car in Virgina I made a down payment of $ 10,000 on a $ 26,000 car and was financed by Westlake Financial. One month later I am getting forced to pay for GAP Insurance even though I do not need it. I have made several attempts to contact the costumer service but these guys are impossible to get help from. The monthley payment has been jacked up to refelect the insurance financing charges. I have contacted the State Attorney Generals office and logged a complaint. Please go to the California State Attoreny General"s website, there are an eazy form to fill out to log a compliant.
Thank you.

Who is "forcing" you? Did the threat come from the dealer or the lender? Are you absolutely, positively sure they are talking about "GAP" insurance and not liability insurance?
