My deceased father took out a home equity line of credit our on his home that is a manufactured mobile home not on a foundation and now that me and my husband are not getting anywhere with payments on a payoff balance wells Fargo has no history at all of my father ever having an account with Wells Fargo but I receive in his name a account statement monthly that I no longer pay a monthly payment since seeing the scam alert. Now that we need to refinance to get a new home and foundation wells Fargo will not acknowledge a lien on the home but I can't put anything in my name wells Fargo claims title. I'm completely stuck and hav no where to turn.

It was wells fargo employees ashley and chaz hawthorne who started the verbal abuse controntation. but the phenix city police side with the blond bimbo because she was a manager at wells fargo. She lied during court that she worked at a bank at 16. NO BANK HIRES ANYONE AT 16 YEARS OLD.
BUT ASHLEY HAWTHORNE WAS GETTING EVERYONE TO BELIEVE HER LISE, THE PEOPLE AT THE NEWS PAPER AND EVERYONE SHE COULD TALK TO. SHE IS A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING.

Don't just give up - get a real estate attorney. Wells Fargo has known issues of opening accounts without the borrower's permission. Although this is not your specific case, because your Father did take out a HELOC on his manufactured home, a decent real estate attorney should be able to help you. Wells Fargo is advertising that they want to "make things right", but it helps to have a professional on your side. Find an attorney asap.
