Web.com... In Communication Business But Fails To Communicate With Customers Failed to communicate that domain name had expired and then closed down site. Ripoff Atlanta Georgia
Talked to Web.com less than a week ago due to 5-sites not working. Asked Tech if sites had expired. The answer was no. Tech repaired all sites after nearly 3-hours on phone. Today call Web.com because 3-sites were down. I was told three sites had expired. I gave details regarding previous call and I was told I was sent notice of sites expiration date. Not so. I was told that it was sent to alternate e-mail address. Not so. Asked to speak to management. I was told that was not possible. I asked what the legal name was for their company. After 2.5 hours being switched all over to many individuals, I got connected to Ms. Owerri in the legal department in Atlanta. (404) 260-2762. She did not know the legal name of the company and insisted I provide my name and telephone numbers and someone would return the call. Did not provide it. I asked where to send process of service so that I may sue the company. She was unable to provide it. I asked if Web.com was able to legally conduct business in NY. She could not answer that either. I have contacted the State of New York.
