Web.com will not allow customers to cancel accounts by any verifiable means such as email, fax, or through their secure ticket system which requires a username and password. We have made over 20 requests in writing by email and through their secure ticket system with no avail going on 6 months. In one of my many correspondences with web.com representatives, I was told that it was a web.com corporate policy not to allow customers any method to cancel an account that would allow them a way them to print a confirmation or otherwise have documentable proof of their cancellation.
The account we set up was a "free" temporary 30-day trial Microsoft Hosted Exchange Server account. To allow customers to see how their system works, they supposed set up a "free 30-day" trail account such as "companyusername.exchangemail.web.com" but then they will continue to bill you for this trial account which is NOT a real account. Who would use an email such as
[email protected] so it is obvious that it is a trial / temporary account.
