Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
"Web Cash Advantage is an Internet based marketing firm that specializes in promoting Fortune 500 Companies, like Sony, Dell Computers, and Walt Disney." At least that's exactly what they'll tell you when they call "in response to your interest in starting a home based business." However, the truth is Web Cash Advantage, and their front end call company MNational Media Group are out for one thing -- your money. ALL OF YOUR MONEY!!

They tell you how you can "realistically: make between 20 and 50 thousand dollars a year by working just one to three hours a week. They'll promise you an educated and experienced advertising coach who will assist you every step of the way to make sure you make monay with the three new websites they'll set up and maintain for you. All you gotta do is decide how you want to direct your advertising dollars to start the profits rolling in. Not your door, of course, but theirs.

They do set up the websites, but don't count on actually getting the advertising you paid for. They will have their sales people call leads, but not for you. At least not to make you money. The only way, and the only time, a client at Web Cash gets paid a commission from sales resulting from leads they've bought, is if they're calling in to threaten legal action of the Trade Commission. If you do that, they'll "grease" you a few hundred dollars just to keep you quiet.

One of the owners, Shawn Henderson, even rips off his employees. Violating Federal Law he refuses to pay minimum wage for hours worked. He has no problem keeping their wages earned, even if it means their on the streets or without medical care. As long as he has what he wants, he doesn't care what it cost you. He will lie to your face, swear to God, and on his own mother, just a long as he gets your credit card number!

If you've recently signed up with this company, call and cancel. (Don't beleive them if they say you can't!) Don't beleive them if they say your advertising has already been purchased or printed. It's a lie! They make it up -- ALL OF IT. From the claim that Mr. Henderson is a self-made millionaire, to the stories General Manager, Mike Allan, will tell you about being a Christian.

Save yourself. your family, and your friends. Don't get caught in their world of victims.

Its Linkshare that's the Problem

#3Consumer Suggestion

After reading these entries I had to comment because I too have not been paid for any of my sales through the web site that was sold to me. I have been in business for 40 some odd years now and I know it takes more than a toustand dollars to start one. I have advertized many times in the past, but I did not stop advertising. some months good, some bad. With this businesee, it didn't matter how I advertised on the internet, I used web cash, I used my own. I know the people were going and I know they were buying, because I purchased too. What the problem I found out was it it the company called linkshare. Linkshare is the company that provides the banners and they are the ones to send out the commission checks. When I didn't make any money, I did my research on the internet and found linkshare has a real bad history of not paying out commissions. I also found this to be the only complaint on this report and that was by a disgruntled employee. Those poeple set up peoples web sites, but its linkshare that pays those commissions. I still have a copy of the linkshare agreement. I suspect that woman should go to the source and do some reasearch about linkshare instead of complaining about people who dont have a clue.

Steve's statement only further proves the very point I've been making. His ignorance, anger, and immaturity on full display, is a perfect example of how that whole business operates. If anyone still needs further proof, simply refer to case number: CV04-05656SC East Phoenix Justice Court. Supplemental Procedings are being filed to make sure all those responsible are held accountable. Something tells me the judge still won't buy the whole "drug addict, delusional" accusation. (He didn't before, he won't still.) Like the he said, "It sounds more like a self confession, than any kind of true accustation." But then Shawn and his crew wouldn't know that. They wouldn't face the judge, because they know they're wrong. Weak and pathetic, Gentlemen. I'm embarrassed for you. Reality Check.

These are the ramblings of a drug addict. Nothing in her report is valid. She is a homeless person who lives behind a homeless shelter. Pretty bad when a homeless shelter won't let a homeless person live there huh? Nothing more to report as RainCheck isn't worth the time

It's been almost a year now, so let me finally update and set straight the counter claims (rebuttals) against my initial report. I filed the civil (small claims) case against National Media Group, Shawn Henderson (the guy who was running the FRONT- end call center for WEB CASH ADVANTAGE, and I won. (I made a point of filing in small claims so no lawyers would be allowed to distract from the issue.) No surprise to me that Mr. Henderson didn't bother to show up for ANY of the proceedings. From what I heard he was dealing with some of his personal issues of drug addiction, and too many bad dealings finally catching up with him. To make a long story short, I won the unemployment claim. I won the small claims case judgement for $2,573. He has yet to pay the judgement, but there is still some great bit of satisfaction in proving that he's a liar, a cheat, a fraud, and not white in the least (That's right, he think's white is what's right.) So far, I have to extend these accusations to Web Cash Advantage as well, they being his ready and willing partners. (After all, he made the calls for them, getting them clients they still try to exploit to this day.) Take note though, they were forced to change their business name to Global Cash too much bad press about Web Cash to make the money they were used to getting. As of today, there are several former employees still waiting for their W-2's. Apparently, Shawn ran of with it all, including monies he withheld for taxes too. Michael, Shawn's trusted pawn and manager, (the one who wrote the initial rebuttal,) has spent the last several months trying to recruit me to his new business. UNSUCCESSFULLYIT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!! He's at another company doing the same d**n thing. Now why would I want that? Don't think all companies are like these companies though, because they're not. If you want to be able to determine the good from the bad, ask these questions (or make sure you don't do these things.) 1. Never send a payment in a cash transfer!!! NEVER!!! Use your credit card to protect yourself. THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT can and will guard against fraud (especially in the first six months) You can cancel and demand a refund!! If you used your credit card, and that's regardless of what the cheating company may say. 2. Ask if the program you're starting is aware of the CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT. See what the reaction is. Do they brush you off, try to change the subject, or go on to tell you your rights? 3. Ask if they have ANY kind of guarantee. Most will say, There are no guarantees in life, or business and then stop right there. A legitimate program will tell you that and then go on to give you something. They won't want you going into a business already with the mind set of it failing, so they'll not focus on a guarantee. But if they back their program and know they will fulfill their promises, they'll give you something. Ask for it and see if they are legitimate or not. These are just a couple things you can do to protect yourself, and better ensure the program or company you plan to start a home-based business with is the real deal. The Better Business Bureau is not always the best gauge to go by. (Have you ever checked Sears or Wal-Mart's standing? SCARY!!) Sometimes, a bad company won't even be listed due to name changes, or using a front end call center. Ask if the company is completely in house when it comes to their sales, or call center staff. Listen to your gut and watch for red flags. If you see them flying and feel a little queezy RUN. Ask questions, a good company will take the time with you, (within reason. of course.) Just so ya know. SignedRain Check Still

Disgruntalled Former Employee is author of Complaint

#10UPDATE Employee

Sat, July 31, 2004

To Our Valued Customers: It has come to the attention of Web Cash Advantage that an article was posted on this web site. A client informed a coach while they were going over Christmas advertising. I read this report. For lack of a better word, it's bogus and based on a former employee's termination. Web Cash has a long reputation as a legitimate internet based marketing firm. In short, we can set a person up with a business opportunity through fortune 500 affiliates. Our clients have the opportunity to work their sites as a business opportunity, they can use their sites as home shopping networks, or use it for potential tax benefits. Whatever reason a person comes to our company and we sell them a product, we fulfill those products purchased. We give an UNCONDITIONAL 30 day money back guarantee, clearly marked in Web Cash Advantage introductory materials and on invoices. Our clients tell us what they are comfortable with and we fulfill those services, both with their web sites and with their advertising. Regarding advertising, there's a myriad of different types of advertising our client's do to promote their businesses which include offline advertising locally in their area, with internet advertising firms, or through the coaching department of web cash advantage. Advertising involves many variables and is a challenge regardless the type business. Potential outcomes are based on probablities and statistics and guaranteed outcomes therefore cannot be graphed. In sum, we tell all of our clients there are no guarantees on advertising. We tell them this up front. Although no guarantees exist in business or in advertising, we do give all clients a 30 day money back guarantee. We want our new clients to explore their new web business, shop on their sites, and work with their coach for the first month. We strive to build long term business relationships with our clients based on mutual trust and fillment of our client's needs. Nothing in that complaint merits comment except the use of the word grease. I have never heard or used that word in the context this complaint alleges. We do use the word grease when giving a $500 advertising voucher and free search engines to certain low income clients because it is a great value. We will grease new clients with this voucher and search engines to help them with their business. Now to the real reason this complaint was filed. It was filed by an employee who terminated employment on July 15, 2004. It is a matter of not seperating home, friends, personal problems, and work. Our employees in the call center utilize sales leads, which are names and numbers of people requesting information on business opportunities. Some leads are bought by our clients and some bought by the company. The employee in question was well liked by the company, but her work habits were inconsistent based on personal problems. She is a crystal meth addict in denial and I tried working with her in her recovery, but you cannot help someone in recovery who denies it. Sometimes I get frustrated with people addicted to these substances and traditional forms of therapy just don't work, so I try to direct the addict to God, (the condescending remark about my christianity). I discussed her past abuse and that she may be acting the part of a victim and most drug addicts are victims of abuse. That explains the headline of this complaint, "The world is full of victims." The woman is on a crystal binge bent on revenge and a paranoid delusion that we owe her something. As a friend to this disgruntled former employee, I tried to help this lady not be a victim. Here at Web Cash we care about our employees' health and well being. A happy and health salesperson brings better quality sales. This person did not get with the program and literally bagan acting out for attention, exhibiting massochistic personality traits: she was always looking for conflict and did not produce unless repormanded. I don't feel as a general manager I should have to perpetually reprimand an employee to get optimum performance. We worked with this employee because we liked her, we cared about her, and we worried about her. At the same time, she was working on our client's advertising, their leads, and she was not making sales. Employees are given the option to go hourly or on commission. She was a commission employee. In the real world of commission sales, it you don't sell, you don't get paid. If you no show for a shift, your commission rate is dropped. This drop is in writing and this employee signed this policy. This former employee demanded money not owed, she threatened lawsuits, and when she learned there was no legal recourse---she was wrong---she defamed our great company with this bogus complaint. Does this not fall under the category of extortion? Normally it would. But this is not a normal person. But this company's patience has finally worn thin! Raincheck, we are not going to feed your mental illness any longer. We will not tolerate any more harassment to our company. We have a file of documentary evidence which include psychotic letters in this employees handwriting, voice messages, time sheets, signed employee reprimands, signed satements FROM THREE EMPLOYEES, past and present, admitting your involvement in a smear campaign against our company. The addict always has problems with the law, and this one is on probation. Not a credible source. On behalf of Web Cash Advantage, I would like to apologize to our valued customers for the remarks made by this disgruntled former employee. Sincerely, General Manager, Web Cash Advantage/National Media Group

Who is this unidentified person spreading slanderous lies?

#11Consumer Suggestion

Fri, July 30, 2004

I received a copy of this false report from one of my colleagues in the aerospace industry who knows of my business dealings with Shawn Henderson and Web Cash Advantage. I don't know what planet this person is from, but as a client of Mr. Henderson's, I have gotten to know him and his organization. I was contacted by Shawn's company back in 2003 and given their spill about the web sites and the ecomerce. I started with a Peer one package, which costed me about $400. I later worked with a Mike Allen and a coach and found their company to be reputible. I spent about $18,000 on advertising, my total commissions were $29,000, my net was $11,000. That was for a full year. This report, where ever it originated, is not how I was ever treated. I never knew Web Cash Advantage had another dba until I read this report, which is no problem, many companies have multiple dba's, but that knowledge could only come from another employee. I am slightly piqued because this is obviously the rantings of a disgruntaled former employee. Shawn is proud of his harsh standards of performance, and many sloths, drug abusers, or just bad sales people are fired...no kisses given and no rainchecks. I don't want a drug user calling leads I purchase. Thank god he weeds these people. When you are successful in business, one should expect such remarks. I know this report is not true, because I went to Phoenix in February to take Shawn up on an offer to go to an auto auction with his dealer pass. He helped me pick out a Lexus for my daughter. I went to the operation in Phoenix, met Mike Allen, my coach, and ate dinner with him and his family. There must be some great error in this report. The Shawn Henderson I know and the Web Cash Advantage I do business with is not the company featured in this report.
