WC *VALUE PLUS Damark.com OMG! This company charged $19.95/month on my credit card for a service they would not tell me about! Hopkins, Minnesota
I was looking over my credit card statements for tax filing purposes and happened to run across monthly charges of $19.95 from WC *Value Plus.
When I called them, they wouldn't tell me what the charges were for, who authorized it, no specific information...only that I "probably ordered something over the phone" which I have NEVER done! When the supervisor came on the phone, he again would not supply me with any specific information. I asked for a refund of my monies since the charges were unauthorized at which point he told me he was unauthorized to give me a refund but would have Membership Services send out a Refund Request Form.
Well, I did receive a letter from them, but it wasn't the Refund Request Form. The letter stated that based on their enrollment records, I was not eligible for a refund. (At this point I still have no idea what I supposedly purchased, how it was done or when it was made.) Interestingly enough though when I read on, the last paragraph stated that if I would like a further review of my enrollment verification/refund request, to check the box below and a Refund Request Form will be mailed to me immediately.
Needless to say, I sent back the letter this morning along with a written request asking specifics on the supposed purchase.
