File a claim against them and let a judge decide the case. There are many cases like this in the system, and you will probrably prevail because the judge will use common sense to decide who is telling the truth. Your engine is ruined and you want it to be replaced or completely rebuilt, not simply "fixed." When you go to court, have estimates in hand for the judge to look at, and expect to get about half of what you ask for due to depreciation. You didn't say how old the car is or even the make and model, so you may be better off replacing the car altogether. BTW, Fram oil filters would not go into any vehicle I own.

The second date on my state 7-06-06 is incorrect. I had the oil changed on 7-06-06. I started having car problems on 7-12-06.
