Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I purchased 4 tires with the lifetime balance and rotation package - now the tires are rated for the car, a 2008 Lincoln Town Car (or else Wal-Mart wouldn't have installed them) but the fact is, they're cheap tires and they aren't wearing well.  So far, that's not really WMT's problem.  But hold on, it gets better.

We had the front end aligned immediately after this purchase, and have had the tires rotated with every oil change since.  One tire already failed - showing steel belts - we replaced it at our own cost, didn't even bother trying to get WMT to honor the warranty because we've had them excuse themselves before by saying "You didn't maintain properly, blah blah blah" despite the fact that their own system would show the regular rotations - screw it - we just bought another tire.

So, I go in for my oil change/rotation - and I tell the guy "the left front has been replaced, the right front has some edge wear but still has tread all the way around" immediately to be told "oh we can't rotate it if it has edge wear".  I respond "Figures, s**t Wal-Mart policy to go with thier s**t tires, I'll never buy them again, just change my d**n oil".  The guy say "My manager is right behind me"  I don't really care, I just hand him my keys and walk out the door.

When I get outside, the manager is sticking it's nose (there's a reason for the neutral pronoun) around my car and says "I won't rotate your front right tire" I respond "Of course, your f*cking worthless warranty won't be honored so you can save two dollars of labor" at which point it responds "You don't curse at me like that sir" to which I shout "I'm the customer, I'm right, and I'll say what I d**n well please while I'm getting screwed here" at which point it starts waving it's hands in my face and saying "get out of my face" as I yell (with my hands in my pockets) "get your hands out of my face, don't tell me how to talk, and change my f*cking oil".  Now this thing is yelling at me, and screaming as my wife is pushing me away from it, and saying "Stop it".

Now as you can see, this is pretty heated, the manager has a tongue stud (not a crime) and some ink, so don't tell me it hasn't heard a few f-bombs in its life, why it suddenly decided to take umbrage with my language (I curse freely, I don't know who made the list, and I don't care, it's just words and they DON'T hurt).

As I'm walking away yelling "Don't touch my tires, just change my d**n oil, and by the way, you're ugly" I hear it yelling "Call security".

My wife tells me the manager was in tears when she followed it inside (yay, got my point across) and I'll rotate the tires myself - the two on the rear are still WMT tires that are still in good shape, so I'll run that "edge wear" tire until winter and then replace it from the place I"m buying from now.

I'm going to find somewhere else to do my oil changes, since it appears that if they can find a defect in ONE tire, they won't rotate IT, which means they are ignoring the GOOD tire on the other position that also needs rotation.

Oh, and I'll call people who tell me "I won't" when what they mean is "I can't because company policy won't let me" anything I d**n well please.

But I won't buy any more rotation/balance packages from WMT - although if they've got the best price on a tire I want, I'll buy it there and have it mounted at the alignment shop while they're checking my alignment yet again.
