Wal Mart ripoff Unfair pay scales They cater to & treat the thieves and rude people better than their employees. Midwest City Oklahoma
Wal Mart claims to be all this employee family thing, and how they care about their employees. All they care about is cutting the payroll and meeting the profits that the big boys expect. They cut hours, already being shorthanded, not caring that your bills go on and the holidays are coming. They say, we give you a bonus !!
What bonus, they take it away hour by hour. They give a
4 per cent raise per yr!! Big whopping 34 cents a Year. Doesn't even keep up with cost of Milk Eggs & Bread increases.
They give no cost of Living rasies. There are 3 & 4 year employees making as much or more than I do after 10 years at W M. When asked about this, the response is "They started at a higher wage than you did years ago. Does that seem fair. We go to the store meeting and hear about how many Millions of dollars WE made, and take our pathetic little checks home.
I am one of those who has stayed too long to leave now at my age. But if I were young and not going into Mgt.at W M , I would never work for them. They do not care about you as an individual. They cater to & treat the thieves and rude people better than their employees. They are always afraid of that call to the HOME OFFICE, which always, always, gives the person that called what they want, right or wrong. Their theory, "take of them, give them what they want, get them out of the store".
Making you look supid, doing your job and right thing, only to be told, do it the other. I just don't understand how a Multi Billion Dollar Co. cannot keep up with inflation in the pay that they give their employees so they can make a decent check and pay our bills. Most large companies now, start cashiers at almost what I make after 10 years! Now that is greed.
