GUNTHER VOLKSWAGEN IN FT. LAUDERDALE=NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
My 1999 New Beetle went into the shop at Gunther Volkswagen over 2 1/2 months ago. It had an oil leak that supposedly had ruined the engine. A new engine had to be ordered from Germany. My insurance company (Progressive) issued Gunther Volkswagen a check for the new engine within days. I was told the engine would arrive in 2-3 weeks because it was coming by boat from Germany.
After many unanswered phone calls to Gunther Volkswagen, "Customer Service Representative, Brent" and Customer Relations Manager, Denise Spencer, and the Volkswagen of America Customer Relations Department (1-800-422-8987), I still do not have my car.....2 and 1/2 months later.
My car sits in an ungated area of the dealership, they cannot provide me with a tracking number for this engins, I was later told the engine was coming "rush priority" by airplane, yet STILL, NO ENGINE!!!!!
Gunther Volkswagen, it's associates and Volkswagen of America have shown me absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, whatsoever. It's no wonder Gunther Volkswagen offers free chair massages in their auto repair lobby. They stress you out, treat you like dirt and then want to give you a massage!!
