VoiceStream is a RIP-OFF
Well, I have been with VoiceStream almost a year now. It has been a year of nothing but frustration. My phone was originally set up with a 727 area code and I live in 813. They told me no problem they would correct it. Of course, it took hours and hours on the phone. Finally after a few hang ups and morons at the helm, I THOUGHT it was fixed. Apparantly, I have been charged dialing long distance to 813 numbers even though I was assured not and given an 813 number... ALL YEAR!! My phone bill has ALWAYS been wrong, every month. I have spent more time on the cell phone with Voice Stream than anyone else. After having my bill fixed and re looked at and credited and this and that I finally just gave up. I was told by different people at VoiceStream that I should switch my plan to save me money and wouldnt you know, eachtime I switched my plan, my bill went UP!! I was convinced to buy a second line for the person I talk to the most (My fiancee 250 miles away)so we could consolidate our bills... then I was paying TRIPLE my reg phone bill. Apparantly it was b/c the rep I talked to screwed up my account.
Its amazing... this customer service is the worst ever. Two weeks ago I was sent a replacement phone for a lost/stolen phone --- that I paid for even though when I originally signed up I was told a free replacement was a benefit of Voicestream - and of course the battery was DEAD. I went to the VoiceStream store and they wouldnt do anything for me so I had to wait over 10 days for a new battery b/c they were on back order. Finally, I get the phone and it is LOCKED!! So, I call VOice Stream only to be told it would take 7-10 MORE days to get a code to get the phone unblocked. This is the most insane, stupid thing I have ever gone through. I just hope not everyone goes through what I go through with this company. It is the worst service ever. The worst part about it is that I know I got screwed for thousands of dollars this year b/c each month my bill was over charged. I feel completly taken advantage of and RIPPED OFF.
