I've been a voicestream subscriber for a few months now. The first month, I paid my bill online and everything was correct. The second month I waited until I recieved my bill. What a surprise I was in for.

I opened up a 14 page book of phone calls to every end of Texas. I live in Ohio, where I work a full-time job and have a life. I've never really known anyone in Texas nor let others use my phone. Yet, i'm getting charged nearly $600 for 1 month of some sort of crap.

Frankly, I think it's rediculous to assume any human could make all of those phone calls and the ones they make local. These ones to Texas, it says I make them every 5 or so minutes of every day of the week. Yet I can have a 40 minute conversation with someone here in Ohio while making these calls. A customer care rep said it showed me in Corpus Christi, Texas 3 minutes prior to being in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This is an outrage and i've never been so frustrated in my life. They keep giving me promises of a solution, but I must wait. Whether it's 10 minutes on hold, or days for someone to call me back, i'm always waiting. I'll try to update this if it's rectified, but i'm guessing it won't be. I'll go through complete torture the next year, and when my contract is up, i'll be cancelling.

Great wording in your emails. You think customers have it hard? You should WORK for the company. Then you'll understand why we dislike you so... Oh, and Jenn in Salem... Big Brother always watches these sites.. so be careful!

I work for Voicestream Customer care and I would just hope that you would call customer care again. the issue you are describing is actually a billing error and if you call in it could be fixed with an adjustment very quickly. If anyone says that it is not a billing issue, let them know that it is an analog roaming issue and to do a search for it under 'unauthorized roaming charges' and they will see what to do. Thanks

To the last response about finding ways to clone a digital service on the internet. You can also find several reports of that whole Richard Gere and the gerbil incident too... and we all know thats true, because everything you read on the internet...just like everything on TV is true. Guess what, there have been ZERO incidents reported of digital service being cloned. And I only ran that stop sign because you were following so closely on my a*s you would have rear ended me had I not ran the stop sign. Have a nice day.

You think your little GSM networking is so air tight. Maybe you should do a little research yourself all you need to do is go into your local search engine on the internet and type GSM Network Cloning and you will get Hundreds of reports telling you it can be done and some that even tell you how to do it. As far as cell phone towers how many do we need I can not drive three miles in any direction of my home without seeing a stupid cell phone tower Oh I forgot you are one of those people that drive down the road with the phone glued to your ear and you don't not have time to look at scenery or notice that stop sign you just drove through without stopping.

OBVIOUSLY THIS PERSON IS TRYING TO GET A CREDIT ON HIS BILL BECAUSE HE WAS THE MORON MAKING THOSE CALLS OR SOMEONE IN HIS FAMILY OR FRIEND & NOW THE WHINER CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY. U HAVE A DIGITAL PHONE W/SIM CARD FOR SECURITY. THE NETWORK U ARE ON IS GSM WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN CLONED. IT IS THE BEST & MOST SECURE NETWORK AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS GUY!!!!! DO SOME RESEARCH BERORE U TRY TO SCAM! I KNOW THERE ARE SOME BAD SALES AND CUST. CARE REPS OUT THERE, BUT THIS A FLAT OUT LIE! CLONING DOES NOT EXIST IN A GSM NETWORK ONCE AGAIN! THE THING THAT GETS ME ABOUT SOME CELL USERS IS MOST REALLY CAN'T AFFORD ONE BUT THEY STILL GET THEM AND WHEN THEY NO LONGER CAN AFFORD IT THEY TRY WHATEVER THEY CAN TO GET OF THEIR CONTRACTS MONTHS LATER! WELL ANYWAY, TO THIS PERSON, U MIGHT WANT TO CHECK OUT SOME NEW PLANS BECAUSE RATES NOWADAYS HAVE FREE LONG DISTANCE W/ TONS OF NIGHTS & WEEKEND MINUTES TO USE! I'M SORRY FOR COMING DOWN HARD ON U, BUT YOUR STORY IS JUST NOT TRUE. NEXT TIME DO YOUR RESEARCH AND ANYONE LOOKING TO GET A PHONE BEFORE U SIGN THAT DOTTED LINE! REMEMBER, IT IS WIRELESS, IT WORKS OFF OF RADIO WAVES JUST LIKE YOUR STEREO IN YOUR CAR. ANOTHER THING, WE WANT TO GIVE U COVERAGE, BUT A LOT OF TIMES U IDIOTS TURN DOWN OUR CELL TOWERS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD OR ZONING ISSUES W/YOUR LOCAL CITY GIVES US PROBLEMS ALSO! IF U WANT COVERAGE COMPLAIN TO YOUR ELECTED POLITICIANS TO LET US PUT MORE CELL TOWERS OTHERWISE QUIT YOUR BITCHING AND CANCEL YOUR SERVICE AND PAY WHAT U OWE! NO ONE FORCED U TO SIGN A CONTRACT ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!

WHY DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT DIGITIAL SERVICE CANNOT BE CLONED?? And for you to be billed for a phone call it had to be made on the phone that the sim chip that is attached to your phone number is in!! I have a suggestion for you - keep a tighter hold on your phone. If "you didn't make those calls" as all customers who have large bills swear up and down - then somebody is using your phone. Which is usually met with the response of "No one has acess to my phone" THEN SOMEBODY HERE IS LYING AND IT AINT ME! I get so sick of hearing "I don't talk that much on my phone" Well, guess what? YES YOU DO! And you're going to have to pay for it. Nothing is free as much as our freeloading, want something for nothing, the world is against me, your company is just running a scam, I'm an angel, the customer, who is always right WRONG customers want it to be. AND WHY DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND that NO ONE has coverage everywhere -- HELLO; its a mobile phone; its not your landline phone - its mobile. It uses towers & in case you didn't know those towers cost millions of dollars & are not everywhere so if you travel eventually you are going to get away from one. AND YES IF YOU ARE A HICK FROM PODUNK TOWN, USA and the closest chuckwagon store is 30 minutes from your house then NO ITS NOT GOING TO WORK AT YOUR HOME! You think companies are bad - consumers are WORSE!!
