So out of curiostity I decided to try VideoProfessor.com to brush up on Excell and man I made a HUGE mistake. My first lesson was free I just needed to pay 9.95 for shipping which I did. I recieved my lesson a few days later and was very busy so I never got the chance to open it. The commercials advertised that the first lesson is free because this company is convinced you will love thier product so much you'll come back for more, so I figured there was no rush.

 

At the time my father was very ill so I continued to ignore the package for something way more important, then to my horror I check my bank statments and find 189.99 charged to my account. I called to find out what just happened as I only had this package for about two weeks so this couldnt be a monthly plan kicking in. I was told that one disk was one lesson and they sent me the other three lesson disks for excell as well so I was automatically charged after 14 days, NOT business days like thier return policy but 14 days all together.

 

I told them I have no interest in paying that and want to return the disks for a refund. I figured it was my fault for not reading the stuff so I'll return it with no harm done. I was told I had to write a return number all over the box or they wouldnt accept it and should send it certified, I did this all. I was then told the refund would take 21-30 BUSINESS days after they recieved it. This I know is stardard precaution so I thought nothing of it, man I was wrong.

 

3 weeks went by and i had no refund though I had a tracking confirmation saying my package was returned two and a half weeks ago. I called and they told me that even though they had the product the refund would still take 21-30 Business days ( now do the math 30 business days at the end of november is almost two months when you factor in weekends and holidays). I asked why this took so long if they already have the product and they said its just how they do things.

 

So the first week of January I call again, I had sent this package back a week before Thanksgiving so this was getting absurd. They told me i still had about another 10 days for a refund, now Im very angry and demanding my money back, telling them they are thieves and thier company are con artists. They hang up

 

10 Days pass and i call again and I'm told I should have had my refund by then so what they will do is email corporate and have them look into it, they tell me this will take 15 to 20 business days. I ask them if their serious and ask them why it takes upwards of 3 MONTHS to get my money back on a product they have had in thier posession for almost that whole time. They once again dismiss me and say thier is nothing they can do. I tell them that they should keep an eye out on ripoff report and the BBB because there IS something I can do.

 

Today i finally got my refund after many angry phone calls, complaints, and waiting while watching my bank account go in the negative due to bills that I would have liked to pay with MY money months ago.  Stay far away from this company they are pure garbage and have no respect for thier customers.
