Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I am currently in the military and was stationed at Fort Bliss, TX.  I had PCS orders and was looking for a way to assist in paying my mortgage for a house I had purchased in El Paso, TX.  I put my home on the market for 6 months with little interest.  I saw an advertisement outside of post for a phone number of a company that purchases houses.  I contacted the phone number and met with Victor Dennis of KV Homes, LLC, who told me that he has a company that does "lease-to-own" contracts on houses.  He said that he collects 6 months of rent up front from his clients and they assume mortgage payments on houses with the intent to eventually apply for a mortgage and assume the house fully.  I signed a contract with Victor Dennis and PCSed away from El Paso.  A family moved into my home and paid the mortgage payments for 18 months on time.  In May of 2016, the mortgage payment was not made.  I tried contacting Victor Dennis throughout the month of May and received only two responses from him, stating that he would take care of the payment by the end of the month.  As of 20 May 2016, the mortgage was not paid.  I called Victor Dennis every day from 20-31 May 2016 to try to get an answer of what was going on with the situation.  Vicor Dennis did not respond to me.  My mortgage payment has now been turned into collections and I am having to work with my bank to see if I can come up with a way to make these mortgage payments by myself.

Victor Dennis is unprofessional and does not honor the terms of the contract that he signs with his clients.  Do not go into business with him or KV Homes, LLC.  If you need assistance with a mortgage payment, call your bank and try to work with them to see if there are options for you.
