Welp this is my first ripoff report and its going to be a d*mn good one.



i guess i will start with the ive been dealing with this case for 2 months from a year now, in march 09 I called verizon and asked if i can cancel my account because i would save more if i cancel my account then pay 70 dollars a month for a 1 year contract, the CSR told me that's fine and i asked "is it possible if i pay the last bill at a verizon outlet" she responds "thats fine" it is possible" to do this, okay! i canceled my account hurray!



SO the next day



I went went to circut city to pay the last bill, out side big banner "closing out" corp bailout ..okay, i go inside(this is where i have been paying my bill) the machine is missing i call verizon to find out "hey is there anywhere els i can pay my bill?" sorry sir the next place to pay is the next town" are you joking, nope, right.. so life went on and i waited for the bill to come in the mail.. then  one day im in the mall i see a joint in the mall "something/verizon" okay I walk in i talk to the lady at the front desk and i ask



"hey is it possible to pay my bill here, my account has been canceled so is it possible to pay my final bill here" she responds " h*ll yeah" and we high 5 i give her 300 dollars i get a receipt badda bing badda boom



month later i get a letter from verizon stating i never paid my bill, my first reaction i went to the place i paid my bill..same lady there i show her the bill and i ask her wtf and she explains "my bill was not able to processes because the account was canceled" you should(the reader)already know what i want to say to this ignoramus's.



get this when i call verizon i asked a CSR the same question i did in the beginning" is it possible to pay my bill at one of there stone when my account is canceled, " she replied "yes i can" i ask a supervisor and he replied "no you can't" and then i told him my story he gone threw his computer and that same store i paid my bill at was not a certified verizon wireless store WHAT?! okay then the supervisor tells me to take it up with the store.



Im still there



she tells me to speak to the manager, when does he come in? who knows? she replies. she didn't really say that, but that's what she should have said. i ask for another receipt, so other then trying get a hold of the manager who is like a ghost there, im constantly calling verizon and sending them faxes to many different numbers, supervisors and departments, over and over again i had to have sent out 21 faxes, notes my account is constantly updating but no one is doing anything, about this crisis im dealing with constant phone calls and im a d*mn paranoid scitzo.



I finaly get ahold of the store manager



this is at the end of may i beleave, i told him to stay there, 5 mins later im there.. the same lady is at the frount desk again and i see the manager in the back acting like hes doing something, worthless puke.. so finaly he asks me back and he has his manager on the phone and he explains to me "we have already issued you a refund and its being sent to this address and i should recive it with in one week" my respone was "you are completely irrespocible how are you going to send a refund with out my consult and verrafing im at this address" he explains to me hes not. okay loser 



a week goes by



and nothing shows up, another week goes by can constant hurrassing phones calls never stop, so after 3 weeks i show up to the store and i explain to the same lady at the frount dest where is my refund "we already gave it to you" WHAT!!!!? so its the same catch me if you can game with the manager. lame



i finaly got the manager



(over the phone) i said "where is mt refund" you wont beleave what he tells he "I already gave you the refund" what the h*ll are you talking about bub" ive been waiting for my check like you and your boss said" he tells me he will call me back after he checks the camras" he doesnt call i had to call him" im very busy" sure you are jerk i call back an hr later and he said to come in and pick up the check" welp i cant to that now its late ill stop by tommarow. i didn't show up im agloraphobic at times, but the next day i was able to, the same lady tells me i already got my refund i couldnt beleave the immorality, the imcompitence so i threten then with an investigation.



in augest now and verizon finally issues a investigation and long story short i recived the my refund, no matter what i say it had no effect. i tell them where is the proof there is my recibt for the refund, check the camras. i gave up and im not paying for something ive already paid for..



now united collection bureau is on my a*s, ive sent them the recibit and its come back frivolous. im going to have to do smoething but i dont know what.

Why file this as a complaint against VZW?

Your problem is with a store that is an independent third party agent and not owned or operated by Verizon Wireless.  Why then did you file this as a complaint against VZW and drag their name into it?  Blame the company you have the problem with, please.
