I have been trying to get some techincal support for my system for about 2 weeks. I was told that when i call that someone would call me back with the assistance i needed. That was early april 2001. I called again the other day and was told that VCStores had filled chapter 11 bankruptcy. And if you go to there website you will find that all you can get to and all links send you to the bankruptcy notice. If you are filling a lawsuit and need any info about the senior company "Fountain technologies" I think, you can find it at www.Quantexsucks.org No this is not a joke site it is from a concerned and very informed citizen, not sure his or her actual relationship with any of this but it appears we have all been ripped off by this company and unless we decide to all file official complaints to the PA district attorneys off. or in NJ,s DA we are just S.O.L., that term you will find or have found describing our situation. I want all that read this that you need to check with the manufacturer of all components you have and see if any of them will offer you any warranty. I bought an Everex system and to date have not had any of the serious problems that some people have had except getting a run around with tech support but after visiting as many sites as i could about this bankruptcy I have learned just what the BIG Picture is. But to reiterate Everex and AOC were great about letting me know we are not alone in this and they will do what they could to provide me with any tech support I needed, If I do ever need it. And if you have a canon printer or scanner, there is a one year warranty with the manufacturer anyway with out worring about any warranty with VCStores. Any way in conclusion. If you have bought a system from any of the related companies you need to go to the site mentioned above, and you will get the whole story. And, yes I too waited over 4 months to get my whole system. with no less that 2 dozen phone calls to them to check the status of my order only to hear the Apparent excused to get us past the 30 window were they had us locked in to not getting a refund for anything, had I cancelled. I am glad I stuck it out because I have been very happy with my system so far but I dont like the thought of having to NEED any customer service or tech support.
