Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
last oct.1999 we visited branson missouri while we were there we went to a place that promised us $50 just to listen to their speech. that was the first mistake for sure. we listened and what they offered us sounded really good and the type of service we would like. we like to travel and they promised all kinds of discounts and told us we could stay at condominiums for 175.00 a week, when we travel. after we bought into their services at a price of 950.00 we received the books for the hotel and rent a car discounts. the discounts were not any better than any 49.00 a year travel club. when i tried to call a while back about staying at the condominims i was told it would cost over 350.00 for a week. it just seems like everything they told us was a lie. we feel like we were decieved and would like to get our money back and also keep other people for being lied to also. thank you.

the address for the travel club is vacation travel club

Manuel wrote that Vacation Travel Club said that they would sell his timeshare for him and the Owner, Scot, wrote that they never say things like that. I attended one of these semiars with Vacation Travel Club today in Gatlinburg, TN....yes they do! The presenter even said that he sold his to the club and the other employees in the room nodded along and said that if you have one "we will take care of that for you!" Just because you don't train your employees to say things like that, doesn't mean that they wont do whatever they feel they can get away with to make a sale!!!! By the way, they do pressure you! The presenters make it seem like you don't love your family and children if you don't take them to Europe every year. And the whole time our seller was with us he just kept sticking out his hand and saying, "So can I congratulate you? Are you with us?"

I am now proud to be a a member of VTC. At first I discredited them for a misunderstanding. But since signing with them, I took my family vacation in Aug 2004 to Orlando Fla. The accomodations were marvelous. I only regret not being able to sell my timeshare. I will continue to look forward to using my VTC for years to come..

I have just read a rip off report filed against my company and I was taken back a step. First off, Vacation Travel Club does not sell to individuals but to "MEMBERS" only. This has been our policy since we started over 14 years ago. You can not book any travel or accommodations unless you are a member in good standing and have a valid Membership Number. Obviously this member did not do his homework or call our office for the correct information. Also, we do not sell Timeshare units for our members. Some Distributors that market our program try to help people who wish to sell. But Vacation Travel Club does not get involved. I am sure that the person who filed the rip-off report knows this and I would appreciate him revising his complaint against the correct company. All questions may be directed to our Member Services at (800) 524-6240 or [email protected] Thank you Scot G. Ender President Vacation Travel Club

I went to a vacation travel seminar. (how they got my personal information is beyond me) They promised a members only price for condos, hotel prices below anyone else etc.. Then they encouraged (not forced) me to get rid of my time share by using one of their affiliates (Century 21) to sell it for me. And I could stay in my same condo for $400. So I shell out more money to have my timeshare merely "listed". Still, no word about it being sold, nearly 6mo now.. So I decide to look up the company online. Without signing in anything , I see condo prices available to the public! Now, you figure! I just shelled out 1500 dollars for what was supposed to be a members only club at discount prices, and this is what I get...... shame. So, I lose again by being suckered into these vacation schemes. First, by buying timeshare, now by Vacation travel Company. What an expensive lesson my family learned.......

#9REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sat, September 06, 2003

Hello, I am the owner of Vacation Travel Club located in Benton Harbor, Michigan. We have been in business for over 13 years. This is the first time I have heard of your site. I guess that may be a good thing considering we have over 22,000 members in our Travel Club. We train our Distributors who sell our Travel Club program to the public and we are very careful not to confuse or exaggerate the new members when they hear about our program for the first time. There is a lot of information that is conveyed in a 60 minute time span during a sales presentation and sometimes members get confused to what they purchased or how it works. I do not know exactly what was told to this member, but I do know that we have everything in writing, signed and initialed by every member who joins our club. I know that there is nothing stated from our documents a $175 week stay in a Condominium. They did say that we produced a week's stay for $350.00. Depending on where, location and time of a Condo stay our average week stay price range is $350.00- $450.00. That is a great value considering some Condo Week stay can run you $750.00- $2400.00+ ! If this member used their membership by staying in one of our Condominiums 3 -4 times in their lifetime, this member would have definitely saved more than what they initially paid for the program. I hope this clears up any confusion out there about the validity of our program. I see this was placed over four years ago so maybe the value has already been obtained. Yours truly, President Vacation Travel Club
