I have read the complaint from the member who joined in Chattanooga, TN. It's unfortunate that the sales office where they joined stopped selling. Like any sales office, special treatment may be given to certain individuals in hopes of closing a sale. It sounds to me that the office in Chattanooga did just that. I would like to use this analogy: If you go to a GMC dealer in Chattanooga, TN and purchase a new car and the sales office offers you free oil changes for the first two years if you buy today, then that sales office closes, who then is responsible? Would GMC have to pay for the oil changes that the Chattanooga office promised the car buyer? The answer is no. The local office would be the bearer of that promise. Vacation Travel Club assumes no verbal promises made by the sales representative contrary to what is printed in the membership material. All members sign this document and initial it. The store in Chattanooga, TN was separately owned, operated and incorporated in the state of TN. Vacation Travel Club is owned, operated and incorporated in the state of Michigan. Two separate corporations. Vacation Travel Club has over 28,000 members and has been in business for over 15 years. All members who join from any of our sale vendors even though their local sales office may not be operating, will still be able to use the benefits that are listed in the VTC materials. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Vacation Travel Club
