Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Per USPS website Priority Mail averages 2-3 days, it has now been 7 days and counting. Called, rep says Priority mail can take 14 days - fine - why advertise as 2 or 3 days when it can take 14 days? Asked about timing on Parcel post and they said up to 14 days - SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO IF THEY HAVE THE SAME TIME FRAME?

BE HONEST RATHER THAN USING DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!!!

As we can all see from the reports of USPS employees, they are unintelligent people with low morals and standards - as with the USPS employee that decided to let her company screw people over for over-pricing postage, just because some d****ebag once gave her a hard time because the company she was working for and representing **ked them over. Yeah, if I help a drowning man and he cuts me with his fingernails while trying to climb up out of the water, I'm not gonna throw him back in or stop helping drowning people. You, Madam, are a worthless piece of human garbage.

The rest of the employees seem to be of the same low-class, b**chy caliber. The same breed that keeps your packages in transit an extra day or ten. Now mind you, there are quite a few good postal workers - the reason your package gets there in 2 days 70% of the time - that don't deserve any BS like the rest of them do. To you, good postal worker, (the postal worker that would have kept helping people not be overpriced on postage, unlike the worker in the above paragraph,) I salute you and thank you for getting my stuff to and from me quickly.

Customers Misinterprst "PRIORITY"

The problem here is the customer misinterpretation of the word "PRIORITY." They think it means a special "RUSH DELIVERY." In a sense they are correct, so let me just explain what the service is. Priority Mail was developed primarily to turn your slower "PARCEL POST" mail into faster "FIRST CLASS" mail. The key word in the above sentence is PARCEL. It is intended for packages, but since people are generally ignorant, what the heck it brings in extra revenue. Also, because shippers like UPS complained about "unfair competition" by the Postal Service in offering a "cheaper rates" for packages, if you really look at the price difference between PARCEL POST and PRIORITY now, it is insignificant -- usually about a nickle and generally less than a buck. I have seen customers pay PRIORITY MAIL postage on FIRST CLASS letters. Why? FIRST CLASS is PRIORITY. Speaking of things like this, I once spotted a postage error. Customer (using a meter) paid $98.00 for an envelope which should have been 98 cents. I (out of the goodness of my heats) took it back to the customer for them to get a refund of the $97.02 and they gave ME a hard time. Guess what? I never did that again.

Don, You never mentioned the destination! Also, what day did you send it? If it was Sat., it did not move til Mon. There are several factors that can cause delay. Did you use a computer generated label with zip+4? Or did you just scribble the name and address? Did you know that using cursive writing on your mail can delay it 1-2 days as it has to be manually sorted. It is best to use Block printing and all capitals and a 3 line format with zip+4 for fastest delivery. Also, did you drop it in a box or actually mail it from the counter? I use USPS priority mail on a regular basis and have never had a problem, usually 3-4 days has been the max cross country. I have had many 2 day deliveries. How about that 2 lb flat rate envelopoe? That is the best deal going for 4 bucks.

Its not a rip off

I'm sorry if you weren't aware that priority mail can be delayed. However, behind the counter of every USPS station across the country it states it's not gauranteed. Yes it may be small print and hard to read, but it's still there. Also when you mail out anything priority the clerks aren't required to specify it's non gauranteed, due to the fact it states that on the rate board behind them. Problem is, is that most people will mail things close to the due date, or dates it's supposed to arrive to the recipient, and when it doesn't arrive on time then the USPS gets blamed. Parcel post isn't the same. It does travel slower then priority mail most times, and is used for bulkier packages. Priority mail travels with Express mail, it's just not as quick. And yes, for future refrences you may want to add Delivery Confirmation which is just an extra 50 cents. Or insurance if it's valuable contents. We aren't trying to be deceptive by the way. I apologize for you thinking that we are.

Sunny & Clear

Between Denver and San Francisco the weather has been sunny & clear, Irregardless, why advertise as 2-3 day when it can take 14 days per the USPS customer service rep? If it averages 2-3 days it shouldn't be anymore than 6 days - 1/2 under 1/2 over the 2-3 day estimate. Why not be honest and say up to 14 day delivery time? Same as Parcel Post? but it costs more? Honesty and integrity! Instead of a claim that it may be 2 or 3 days, state up front it is USUALLY 2 OR 3 DAYS BUT CAN TAKE UP TO 14 DAYS!!!!!!!!

You do know what AVERAGE means right?

Meaning, that MOST Of the time (majority of the time) packages/letter sent Priority HAVE arrived within 2-3 days of being sent. Doesn't mean "all the time". It means 'most" of the time. I've sent plenty of packages that got received within 3 days. SOME took 7 days because of WEATHER. Some parts of the coutnry isn't perfect sunny and clear weather. This could ground planes, hinder ground transportation, and delay mail. CAN YOU predict weather? IF you needed something delivered with a GUARANTEED delivery time USE Express mail
